    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

I get this message all the time, and I never force quit the app. I do carry the fob and my mobile key is active, though. My theory has been there is some conflict over the handshake with the phone's mobile key and the fob. Both want to authorize, and neither is getting through. I never get...

My new “L” shin scar (x2)

Never. Right leg first, with a good lean angle always does the trick. Until it doesn’t, I guess.

My new “L” shin scar (x2)

I whacked my head yesterday getting in for the first time in over a year. Had to take a moment to laugh at myself. And no, I hadn’t been drinking. At that point.

    Electrify America charging free?

I'm one of the few lucky early Touring owners who got a full three years of charging. So I'm good until December 23, 2025. Almost a year from now. And the day before my lease ends.

Can't Get a Mobile Key To Work: IOS 18.2, Tried all suggested fixes

Mobile key works perfectly fine for many others who have Android. I imagine maybe they have made some changes in the new iOS version that might make it more reliable (who knows?) but suggesting no one with Android can use mobile key right now seems—specious at best.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

That's going to take some time. I imagine there will be a lot more info and personal reviews out by mid-January or so.

Confirmed: Android Auto coming this fall!

I'm pretty sure they have to do validation for each vehicle. Yes. And likely they did factor that into their release schedule. But Gravity's certification shouldn't hold up Air's, and vice versa.

Lane centering when moving over for Bicyclists or Walkers

I set my lane departure warning to vibrate only a long time ago and never looked back. Yes, the vibration is annoying in the scenario you mentioned, but at least I don't have to fight the car wanting to go back to the lane. I don't ever want my car to think it knows better than I do where the...

    Wiper blade replacements

Call service. This sounds like maybe the whole fixture needs to be replaced. Or perhaps your blade arm is bent out of shape somehow?

    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

To paraphrase a college many years ago, "It's not about shipping zero bugs. It's about shipping as few bugs you don't know about as possible."

    Accelerator thunk

I completely agree. Profiles really needs a rethink. But I've been tooting that horn for a while now. I really hope something good is in the works.

Tired of lack of Android support

The unfortunate lesson here is “never trust anything a sales advisor tells you.” We’ve seen time and again that they have less information than we do here. And worse, when they don’t know something, they tend to make up answers out of whole cloth. THIS I will absolutely ding Lucid for. It’s an...

    Accelerator thunk

Hyperbole much? It’s a brake release. Yeah, you can feel it, but it’s just a brake release. Easy to forget three seconds later when you are at 60 mph.

    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

Same. Likely for the majority of us. But for those who do run into bugs, it’s super frustrating. Both for them and the developers. This is why good bug reporting is so valuable. Even though it can seem like a thankless exercise. It really does help to fix these things.

    New IOS Mobile App 2.0

The new app isn’t even showing up on my list of apps using battery. So, less than 1%? The app should be using nowhere near 8%, unless you are actually opening it and using it a lot.

    CARPLAY

I’ve had almost zero issues with CarPlay for the past year or more. I also turned off WiFi in the car and never looked back. I can’t prove one has anything to do with the other. But I can recommend at least trying to go without WiFi in the car. It makes no difference in OTA downloads, as far...

Tired of lack of Android support

Lucid has been shipping cars for about three years now. What other companies have been doing is irrelevant. None of their work lessens what Lucid needs to do in order to ship Android support. Ideally all platforms would be supported by now. Nothing about Lucid’s software journey thus far has...

Tired of lack of Android support

As far as I can tell, part of the deal with choosing Android is dealing with the fact that a lot of companies don't prioritize Android. Maybe that sucks, but at some point you have to accept that's part of the choice. Just as not being able to sideload any old app I find on the internet is part...

Tired of lack of Android support

What you seem to want is to be able to express your assumptions as fact, and then have others who actually have inside information that directly contradicts those assumptions stand by and not correct the record. That's not what this forum is about. There are thousands of other places on the...
