    Extended Warranty

I've been watching some other car forums for a little while, and in general there are reported issues similar to those that we see here: key problems, creaky steering wheels, software issues. But other cars' owners seem to be a generally calmer bunch than Lucid owners.

The recall also meant that a total deliveries figure was published. https://electrek.co/2025/03/20/tesla-confirms-it-cant-sell-the-cybertruck-even-with-tax-credit-and-discounts/

    Mobile key unlocking delay

With respect I'd suggest traveling to a Lucid studio, borrowing the car's fob and trying locking and unlocking it yourself. You can turn passive locking and unlocking on and off in the car's settings and see what you think. And/or link your phone as a mobile key and try that. I've had my GT for...

    Mobile key unlocking delay

My fob has generally worked fine in the past. Just lately the car has sometimes lagged a bit at unlocking. Online forums amplify problems.

Time to unplug from the forum, and go take a test drive somewhere beautiful.

    EV Charging

I'd buy the NACS cable from Chargepoint. Adapters are a drag in daily use. Chargepoint's EVSE is designed for easy cable replacement. There's currently no advantage to Lucid's EVSE unless you want to charge at greater than 48 amps.

    2.6.11 Released - Critical Update

No drama here with the update, all went as you'd expect.

    Mobile key unlocking delay

I don't think so - I'd guess Lucid management is still painfully aware of the problem, but are solving other issues more cortical to the company's survival. Pretty much every early reviewer of the Air mentioned occasional problems entering the car. It became a running joke. For me, it's not the...

    Mobile key unlocking delay

Not every time, sometimes. It's not ideal, but for most users the rest of the car more than makes up for it. If this is the kind of thing that would give you fits, look elsewhere.

    Mobile key unlocking delay

I had been thinking that our fabs have been more reliable than our phones as mobile key. But lately the fob hasn't been great either. I wind up standing around, then press the door handle in, wait a bit more, then the car wakes.

    Lucid Air Touring Charging

Or any J1772 EVSE if you don't need NACS for another car.

    Lucid Air Touring Charging

I've used a TeslaTap for destination (hotel) charging while on road trips. It works OK, but does get warm, which concerned me a little. In one instance with a possibly faulty charging handle, it became extremely hot. The issue may have been in the charger rather than the TeslaTap, though...

    How to check HP

My "B" GT was sold with 819 hp, not 800. Could there be a metric/imperial factor missing?

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I'm not concerned about Lucid delivering Gravity. They will, though in a longer time frame than we'd prefer. I want to move to an SUV this year but otherwise am not in a hurry. So I have an alternate vehicle plan, and will choose Gravity or the other when either is fully baked. My planned...

aOS. But my phone is not involved in the car charging AFAIK.

Can you set a charging "off" time?

I am using an Enphase IQ EVSE. It is programmed to only charge my car using excess solar power. But this has only been working if I wake the car periodically. Checked it just today - same behavior, I had excess PV for hours and the car didn't wake to charge until I woke it manually. If Lucid did...

Can you set a charging "off" time?

Mine definitely still has the same problem. If my EVSE doesn't allow the car to charge right when I plug the car in, the car goes to sleep after a while and does not wake up until I ping it by opening the phone app. Then it'll start charging if the EVSE is ready to supply current.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

It's difficult to understand why color choices and seat configurations would be limited only for DEs, if this is correct.
