    Dream Edition aiyoooo!

I didn't get an invite either, but no need to get a nose bent out of shape. The Dreamers are doing the beta testing / manufacturing debug for us.

    Hi from San Diego

Yes. Some EVs allow you to schedule different charging windows on different days; the Air does not.

    Hi from San Diego

You can set a charge schedule your EV6, and also on your Air, and turn off the schedule on your EVSE. This is currently the only way for the Air to take advantage of time-of-use rates, short of using a home automation setup to wake the Air at the right time, or periodically wake it if plugged...

"Announced CEO transition..." Rawlinson out as CEO

I'd disagree. He's not young, and is leaving at a high point. A rare and rewarding way to finish a storied career.

    How is the software?

It's not been a big deal for me. Even with the occasional buggy OTA, I've had to reboot my infotainment much less often than I did in my 2018 Model 3, or in our 2021 XC40 Recharge.

Hm,m, mine are a flexible sheet-molded solid plastic with an embossed fabric texture. They are completely waterproof. Could there be a defect in yours? https://www.tuxmat.com/products/8753-lucid-air-grand-touring-sapphire-custom-mat?year=2022

Long time EV owner looking at Gravity

I would not count on Lucid achieving anything like Tesla's FSD in the near future. Tesla's FSD team alone is several times larger than Lucid's entire software dev group.

I don't know if Porsche's Macan EV has improved ADAS over the Porsche model you are referring to, but it did pretty well on Out of Spec's Hogback Road test: https://outofspecstudios.com/hogback

EV Competition....Tesla Losing Ground. Can Lucid stay a relevant player?

This is why there are significant protectionist trade barriers to Chinese cars in the US. They'd quickly dominate the mass market.

Check the Polestar 3 as well. Gravity may be a better value in a year or so as lower-priced trims become available. But for me the Polestar 3 is currently a serious contender at a lower level of amenities and price point. And its software has a year or so of head start over Gravity's.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

Yeah, here we are talking about the Model Y in a Gravity forum. It's slow. So how is the weather where you live? Looks like a cloudy day here, but I can't complain. My Model Y opinion: if I was in my mid-30's and I was preoccupied with a young family and my job, and it was my first EV, I'd buy...

    Tracking updates of DD

I don't think so. Is there a specific area you are looking for improvement? Fewer errors / loss of lock? Hands-free freeway driving? "FSD"?

Anyone know of bidirectional charging status?

And an autotransformer to create a center neutral from the J1772's single phase 240V output. Excellent post BTW.
