I have an Android phone and I can confirm the mobile key does not work like the fob. I need to use the app to lock / unlock the car.

The only thing to do is to get an appointment the moment you notice an issue since it does take time to get seen.

I got the update as well. Happy with the current state of the software...and the two additions that would make things even better would be Android Auto and significantly improved key fob detection. I can find myself standing next to the car just waiting.
