I updated the app on my android (Samsung Flex 4) and I only get "Vehicle Offline", which is what I had before the update.

    Wheel nut torque

The 19s that came with the car were 245/45r19 with a diameter of 27.7". I replaced them with 245/40r20. They have the same diameter. I didn't want to screw up the odometer setting. I don't know how Lucid calibrates the odometer with different tire diameters. I kept Pirelli EV tires for now...

    Wheel nut torque

Thanks for the torque info. One thing that surprised me was I only received the small icon on the dash showing one tire was zero psi, no blaring whoom whoom as when a seat belt is not fastened. I drove about 1/2 mile with it before I noticed the icon. I might add, it drove fine with a right...

    Wheel nut torque

I have tried to find the recommended wheel nut torque in the manual and have been unsuccessful. Anyone out there know what it is? Had a flat tire this morning and changed it alongside the road. Guessed at 110 lb ft for the torque.

    Colorado

Here we sit in Grand Junction, the only Lucid in town since we received it in January 2022. Lots of comments from people who have still never heard of Lucid? (Who makes Lucid?). Someone local in a Rivian flashes his lights at us when we pass. A few of the local Teslas owners have made...

    Android Auto Thursday

I just wish Lucid had a radio that worked as good as the one in my first car, a 1952 Plymouth.

    Car Pulling to one side

I recently had a 4-wheel alignment performed and only the left rear wheel was in specs from the factory. The alignment specs in the manual were referenced and used.

    Extended warranty

There is an interesting article on a breakthrough in EV battery technology in the Sydney Morning paper. Scroll down toward the bottom of the articles listed. https://www.smh.com.au/business/companies/the-new-electric-batteries-that-will-wash-away-need-for-fossil-fuels-20230308-p5cq9j.html

I thought about that as I don't know when it actually opened.

    RearDriver Door Opens When Unlocked

Had the same event. After backing out of the garage, the driver's side rear door was wide open. Only happened once but it is disturbing. Have 2.0.55 installed. I informed our service gal.

    [SOLVED] Seat “Restore” not working

My "restore" button has never worked and we have had the car for a year. I figured the only reason for the button was for the computer to let me know who's boss.

[SOLVED] Seat memory (not working) and profile information goofiness

I have that problem with seat positioning now and the service rep is replacing the seat as the electronics in the seat are not serviceable. As for SXM, the signal comes and goes at random intervals. I was told the problem is system wide and is being looked into from the Lucid side.

Big problem! People Staring at My Car!

We recently had a man in a van from a plumbing company follow us through town and into a restaurant parking lot to find out "What kind of car is that?" He, of course, never heard of it but seemed to like it.

    Windshield Wiper Fix

I understand the wiper arm fix, although I have not had to do it, as yet. Thanks so much for sharing the procedure. I was only recently advised of the process to replace the cabin filters, 3 I believe. Seems to be about a 2 hour process. Has anyone as yet tried to replace them?

Opening of frunk while driving forward. What can prevent this?

I had my fronk open when I put the car in reverse in a parking lot and again as I stepped on the accelerator at a stop light. Rather embarrassing and unsafe.

    Summer Tire Storage

By no means am I a tire expert but since summer tires don't like cold weather, I would keep them in at least a semi-heated space. As a somewhat experienced married man, the bedroom would be a fine place but then you might take their place in the unheated garage.
