    End of Lease Experience

The way it normally works (to my understanding) is that you aren't actually changing the lease terms. Instead, you're ending the lease, and paying the end of lease fee. At that point they end up with the vehicle back which they need to sell, which they'll put a price on. They can wrap this...

ICE-ing is infuriating and awesome Tesla surprise..

Because those people are actively seeking conflict. One of these days I'll not be busy and happen past one in my truck. I've always felt like if I did I'd probably just park it sideways about 2" in front of them and leave for the day.

Easy Entry/Exit Chime - Random volume?

It would be strange if it's a seatbelt warning, because I trigger the easy entry by buckling my seatbelt rather than pressing the brake. There's definitely still a chime there. I went and tested to make sure. It suddenly has gotten very quiet though and is staying that way, so not sure if the...

Home charger( P11-Y25901-02) Show 80A when dipswitch is at is on the the 50A setting and the breaker is on a 50A

Ah no worries - I thought you were saying you set it to the 50A continuous current setting. Though I see now it doesn't have a 50, only 56.

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Do we really need them to? You can still use Alexa via Alexa Auto, or Siri via Carplay, or soon enough Google Assistant via Android Auto. The only things that would be "lost" would be voice controls for vehicle functions, which it seems like Lucid's voice system already does. I don't see why...

Easy Entry/Exit Chime - Random volume?

So I was second guessing myself on this, but - I think it really is the case. When I get in the car and trigger the seat adjustment from easy entry, the car starts making a chiming noise I think to warn you the seat is adjusting. The weird part is - that chime seems to be random in volume...

Windshield wiper system auto function not sensitive

Spoke with Lucid today - kind of vague agreement the auto doesn't really work, and suggested to just always use the manual controls. First car I've had in a while where auto wipers didn't work well and I had to use manual.

Home charger( P11-Y25901-02) Show 80A when dipswitch is at is on the the 50A setting and the breaker is on a 50A

Well, aside from that issue - do not set it to 50A for a 50A breaker. Stay to 80% of the breaker rating for the load. You need to be at 40A.

New (used) 2022 GT Owner with Tesla wall charging problems (hot plug!)

The outlet is not relevant to the heat at the vehicle plug end. If the plug at the outlet is getting hot, then yes, definitely address that. Otherwise it's not relevant to this at all.

Driver's side wiper blades leaving haze on the windshield

Thing is, I haven't used anything at all. The car has <100 miles, it was picked up from the service center new on Friday. Whatever is on it, and in the wiper fluid tank, is what came from the factory. I can't imagine they're putting RainX on them there?

Driver's side wiper blades leaving haze on the windshield

Yup, cleaned the windshield and blades, and rinsed quite thoroughly. Can't seem to get rid of whatever this oily stuff is.

Windshield wiper system auto function not sensitive

Have also found the auto wipers are pretty poor. They work - sometimes, kind of. I have to press the wiper stalk button a lot while driving even with them set to Auto - High. The knock on effect of this is even though it's dusky gray and stormy, I don't think the headlights/lights are turning...

Driver's side wiper blades leaving haze on the windshield

Driving mine in the rain in Chicago here for the first time, delivered 4 days ago - the driver's wiper is just leaving rainbow tinted messy streaks all over. I've already tried glass cleaner, dish soap, IPA, and simple green so far. Nothing seems to fix it. I'm wondering if the wiper blade...

Removal of Alexa in 2.4.x software

Hopefully they won't try to re-invent it, and instead keep it only to vehicle functionality. With CarPlay and AA implementations, we can just use native Siri or Google Assistant for all of those functions. Since those won't perform vehicle functions, and it isn't that different having Alexa do...

    Cellular provider

I have 2 cars with similar service that have a sim card slot, and you can swap any sim you like. Agree, the basic functionality is included. But for reasons of service, you can change it. For me, AT&T has poor service around where I live. I have already noticed that things like Tidal fail...

New (used) 2022 GT Owner with Tesla wall charging problems (hot plug!)

Tesla is a bit famous for running a bit too close to the edge of thermal limits. If it were me, unless you need the extra 8A - I'd see if you can't back it down to 40A as if you were using a nema 14-50 and see if it operates normally then. The teslatap will definitely add some resistance with...

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Why does this need improved communication? Nobody is going to or needs to micro-manage OTA software roll-outs to their entire line of vehicles. Lucid's might be smaller than most, but that's still a really unnecessary thing. It's going to roll out to all the cars, they're dealing with some...

    Lucid motors service director

If your issue is well documented as beginning under warranty, it is still required to be fixed under warranty after the warranty expires. I wouldn't worry about that part at least. I have no idea what the issue is, so beyond that, not much can be said.

Just got your Air? Common questions answered!

You don't press anything when you get in. You can optionally press it before you get out (or if you are staying in your car for a period) to turn off lighting/etc early.

Just got your Air? Common questions answered!

The problem being that then it also doesn't turn back on when you get in. So your second statement is somewhat ironic to the first. The on/off switch (Taycan) you can press before getting out to shut it down, but it still automatically starts as normal when you get back in. Though the Taycan...
