Ok, what's the deal with aftermarket wheels and "hub centricity"?

Are you sure $8000? Because they're on the Lucid Store https://store.lucidmotors.com/20-aero-lite-stealth-summer-wheel-tire-package/ and they're $6000.

    Actual Key Fob Data

Well hell, this whole time then I maybe thought this wasn't possible just because the app told me so - I always had the fob so I never actually tested it beyond that.

System Alert (Orange/Yellow Exclamation in Triangle)

Interesting - I get it when there is essentially any amount of moisture in the air or on the vehicle. In fairness, my Taycan also did this - and they replaced the lidar & PCCM for it 3 times before declaring it actually was working right, just that LIDAR and Chicago's climate don't go well...

    Actual Key Fob Data

Does that work? When I did this with the delivery agent, it disabled the mobile key. It would only work with proximity enabled.

System Alert (Orange/Yellow Exclamation in Triangle)

Mine has been on for most of the time I've owned the vehicle - the lidar sensor is incredibly intolerant and any amount of water, dust, wind, emotion will cause it to alert. I have not found a way to actually get it to tell me again after, but that does remain on for the duration even after the...

    Actual Key Fob Data

I hadn't had issues with this for the first few months, but - my fob battery has died twice (fully) in the last month. Ugh. Hey Lucid - can you make it so we can use a mobile key but not use proximity lock/unlock? I wouldn't mind it if (it worked) and I could just press the door handles but...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

Purely from the fact that Lucid's advertised range is hit while driving roughly at 70 (when they did their Pacific Coast demo for range on the Air). Not referring to the OOS one, just Lucid's own demos. Looks like they actually say 65mph, so probably that rather than 70 even. I would...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

Drag coefficient, but it doesn't operate on its own. The actual amount of drag is the coefficient relative to its frontal area. The frontal area is not reflected at all in the coefficient, and obviously isn't part of the marketing - because it is not particularly great on the Air. While...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

Well, yes of course. But there are aero decisions that likely would have been different if the goal were to be most efficient at 80 vs 70. Maybe even the entire shape or size of the vehicle. Who knows. That said, the car isn't 50% more efficient again at 60mph vs 70mph. There was a clear...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

Sure, efficiency varies greatly at speed. Lucid seems to have optimized the car very carefully at 70mph. At 80mph, it falls far out of its optimal performance.

    camera system issues

Well, as I mentioned - embarrassing as it is, get out of the car and look. It always works, and the feeling passes faster than if you run into something instead. This is not to let Lucid off the hook obviously given my original post. But don't let yourself be hamstrung when there is a low...

Turned off the curb protection, still happened to me today again.

    Touchscreen sensitivity is very poor

Generally agree, it's a bit inconsistent, especially when driving and you can't be your most stable. Porsche's "haptic-ish" system is kind of a good solution to this, at least the best I've used. Here you sometimes tap when you don't want to, sometimes don't tap when you do want to. It'll be...

Because those weren't on display at CES?

Lucid Air proudly displayed in worst of CES 2025 (Soundhound)

I'm not sure I agree with that first part, the gen AI providers I've been involved with are more in the "massive energy pigs because it's a hot race" situation. Ignoring that, it just very much sounds like something I do not want/need in the car - I definitely don't need Hey Lucid provided me...

Lucid Air proudly displayed in worst of CES 2025 (Soundhound)

Surely hope this is not something Lucid is actively pursuing, because it sounds absolutely awful, even ignoring the environmental issues raised.

    camera system issues

Yeah, it's a bit compounded by this being a big car, with not great sight lines. You really have to depend on the cameras/sensors. It's further annoying that it doesn't just inhibit the cameras, but also the sensors, so you really have nothing. I end up having to get out of the car and look...

    camera system issues

Surely if the software is aware enough to tell us "Camera Error - Turn your vehicle off and on again", you can also just address it without turning the vehicle off and on again. When you're trying to park somewhere in tight quarters, and this pops up as soon as you get part way in, having to...

    More YouTube Nonsense . . .

The joys of the generative AI era. It is the gray goo of media/information. We definitely have nothing to manage it with.

    Ground clearance question

Ask them if you can schedule them to bring one to you for a test drive on roads near you. They did for me. Not quite as far as you, but I definitely wasn't close. I had the same concerns, and as borski said, yup - it's gonna drag here and there. It seems designed in a reasonable way that...
