    Another range test by CR

Totally agree with you. I also come from the world of BMW and my wife still drives an X5d, which she probably will never give up. 🙂

    Massive Tesla Recall (OTA)

Ah - not a big deal. All taken care of by software, which every company will have or has had at some point. In my mind, a software update is simple compared to a traditional recall where you have to take it in to fix, like an airbag, etc…

    Another range test by CR

Love how the Germans blow away the EPA. Would be nice to get a car and have it overpeform your expectations, instead of underperform EPA like Lucid and Tesla do. I know different EPA tests, but still Germans do a good job in total range and are much closer to Lucid/Tesla than the general...

Consumer Reports rating of the Touring in Aug 2023 issue.

I thought their road test report on the Touring was one of the most detailed I had read and seemed fair. I think many of the cons will be addressed with the Gravity.

Any December offers for Air Loan/Lease?

I did fill out the app for Dec. My numbers were for a 18 mos lease.

Any December offers for Air Loan/Lease?

The GT buyout is actually less than the Nov numbers. The MF did go up from 0% in Nov though, but still buyout cheaper in Dec by about $8k.

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

That seems really bad, especially for GT and even in those conditions.

    FEATURE OTA Update 2.1.47

Agree - very useful feature. I just assumed all cars have, since our cars have had this features for a long time.

Electrify America is enraging EV owners

They really need to start fixing this stuff and get it right. Should be as easy as plug and play. When I tried 3 newer EA charging locations that had 4 charging areas, only two out of 4 worked in each location. How can that even be possible? It will be hard to get large EV adoption for...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

So, are you saying your EQS gets better range than your Air or gets better than projected EPA range compared the the Air getting less than projected EPA range?

Air Pure AWD...No More Coming in 2024

Maybe, but that is progress - right? Same can be said for all the recent price reductions based on original pricing in 2022 and even earlier this year that affect people that purchased those cars. They are new company, so they are trying to find the right balance, which makes perfect sense...

Air Pure AWD...No More Coming in 2024

I would have just gotten rid of Pure RWD and stuck with Touring and Grand Touring. I think RWD is a limited market compared with the AWD sedan market, but then I live in a colder climate. Would have started the Touring around $80k. Love they have option choices now.

    SiriusXM Megathread

Too bad you can’t use an existing account with this. I already have two Platinum plans that include Streaming and would think you could use one of the streaming logins with the Lucid, especially if I use the Lucid Radio ID in place of one of the Platinum plans I already have. I prefer Platinum...

First Stations of the Pilot - GM and Fly J fast charging network are online

The Flying J by us looks like it got 4 EV chargers, which is great. I just don’t understand why they are not starting with more at these locations. Should be at least 8+ at each location.

    Drive Comparison, GT, Touring, Pure??!

True, like you said earlier though, for people that live in a snowy climate, then 19’s are best, unless you want to have two sets of tires/rims. I prefer 19’s, as live in a snowy climate and cheap to get snow tires put on, plus cheaper to replace OEM 19’s too when they wear out. Also - want...

    Drive Comparison, GT, Touring, Pure??!

Or get the 19’s if you really want to maximize range - right?

What to do if you have an accident with your Lucid

That seems so high, but I think Ohio is a cheap insurance State. I pay $472 ($1000 deductible) a year for 21 Model S LR thru Erie Insurance and was quoted $748 a year for the Lucid GT.

    Drive Comparison, GT, Touring, Pure??!

I agree with you that that Touring felt more nimble and lighter than the GT.

    Shock and Tilt Alarm

Is there no way to set this where it never goes off at home? Could it go off when you go to the store and your wife/dog stay in the car?
