    Range Questions after first trip

I see the same occasionally, the Auto climate control is obsessed in cold weather with running the front windshield defrosters, I think this is what uses all the energy.

20-ish mile range difference between 5 seat and 7 seat Gravity?

Ok I revisited the configurator again today to check in the portal if I could find out why after my app update the Air said my EA charging plug and play was inactive.... I believe the difference in EPA between 5 and 7 seats is mostly due to HVAC load since there likely will be some more vents...

Doors re-locking before I get to the driver’s door

I just disable passive lock. Makes everything predictable, then my car locks automatically when my mobile key gets out of bluetooth range, or I just press the door handle to lock it manually....

Out Of Spec Lucid Air ADAS Review--Not great, Bob.

I just did a 140-mile roadtrip from Michigan back and it worked surprisingly well. It was raining, foggy, misting the whole way back with visibility about 5-8 car lengths. Was definitely helpful to keep distances and speeds lower since you couldn't see what was going on ahead. I was mostly...

    Seat Heater

Same I can't find any documentation as to what conditions it thinks it should be turned on, but I have been in 15 DEG F and it didn't automatically activate🤷‍♂️

20-ish mile range difference between 5 seat and 7 seat Gravity?

Yes but Gravity has rear power bias...same thing for handling and getting the off-the-line acceleration needs. But it's a trade-off for long term operating ease.

Are We Asking the Wrong Question About Charging?

I think they should probably get rid of free charging so people don't try to get all that last 10% juice just because...

    Gravity; SUV or Minivan

What if the Gravity's market size includes all the overlapping capabilities of each? Station Wagons, Minivans, SUVs, 3-Row truck based SUVS that are all 80K+ and Crossovers/luxury sport SUVs...

First pre-production Gravity reviews are coming in

I beg to differ on existential crisis, see China taking over the world, VW Group, Nissan, Stellantis are on the same track to bankruptcy that people claim Lucid is. After the EU tariffs, the Chinese decided German cars are irrelevant and stopped buying them, and China is the biggest car market...

First pre-production Gravity reviews are coming in

True. So far without hard data, but anecdotal comments, the real ratio is something like 7:3 for liking the styling vs its ugly or a minivan...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I was planning on ordering with the range wheels in black, but likely would buy a 2nd set of the 21/22s in silver, since you can't get them with the stealth package, and I actually dislike black wheels on the daily practical cars. Then for Chicago weather have the option of winter and summer...

Out of Spec Kyle - A.M.A. on Lucid Gravity

To be fair, he lived through that commentary for 10 years, even now the new Anti-EV movement is rehashing the whole "Tesla's profits are all from credits" BS....

First pre-production Gravity reviews are coming in

I actually was looking seriously at the Volvo EX90, its objectively worse at all the Sport and performance and EV aspects, but the Gravity could be considered excess for most people's daily commuting and errands needs. EX90 has similar sophistication, and presence, plus I like the captains...

First pre-production Gravity reviews are coming in

From an execution of the term Sport Utility Vehicle, the Gravity IS the most complete and accurate and honest literal definition of what that would do.
