    Something is just not right

I wasn't thinking music. I agree that for music sound quality Tidal is currently better. Further, if you are not an Apple user CarPlay is probably of questionable value. But for Apple users it is crazy good because it integrates so well with Apple equipment.

I get it. But you miss my point.

    Something is just not right

I guess what bothers me the most is that Lucid advertises its cars as supporting CarPlay and they don't support CarPlay. One reason I chose Lucid over Tesla is that Tesla doesn't have CarPlay. As for not using CarPlay, when I had my Porsche I found CarPlay to be the most valuable software...

    October OTA Updates

I completely agree. How hard is this? Look at smartphones. They tell you if they moved a window three pixels.

    October OTA Updates

I'd still like to know what is being changed. If Lucid is just "optimizing or preparing for next feature or minor fixes" how hard would it be to say that? Why is it so difficult for Lucid to be transparent about what it is doing?

    October OTA Updates

It always the same. It just makes a generalized comment about improving everything. "Improvements to onboard connectivity, diagnostics and wireless communications." They may as well be saying "we fixed stuff." Are there any specifics?

Notice how the ad says: Apple CarPlay/Android Auto This must be a different Lucid Air.

That makes it mere a rumor. (And I want to be clear here that I am not trying to start a fight with anyone, although there does seem to be a desire on this site to avoid criticizing Lucid even when Lucid deserves the criticism.) This "we are all happy with our Lucid" fantasy tells Lucid that...

    Something is just not right

As far as I can tell, this idea that Lucid is waiting on Apple is a fabrication. Does anyone have link to some evidence that the only thing holding up CarPlay on the Lucid Air is Apple? I have never seen it.

    Something is just not right

Lucid can't even get its cars to work with CarPlay, when nearly every electric vehicle in existence comes with CarPlay, and you think Lucid believes Apple is going to buy them?

    Hello door handles! Goodbye radio…

You would think. Even the lowest priced electric vehicle's have CarPlay, but Lucid owners have to do without.

    SiriusXM Megathread

"They have 300 channels of crap and only 5 to 10 that people probably listen to but you pay a premium to get those 5 to 10 you want." Absolutely my experience.

"Apple engineering manager Emily Schubert said 98% of new cars in the U.S. come with CarPlay installed. She delivered a shocking stat: 79% of U.S. buyers would only buy a car if it supported CarPlay."...

    Push door handle to wake?

I suspect the reason for the door handle pushing in is to release any ice in cold climates. I have seen a number of cars, including Teslas, with doors that are stuck because the handle is flush.

    When do we see 2.0?

For what it is worth, I have 2.0.18 Release on my car. I'm not sure what version is the latest version. That is a complaint I have for Lucid. They often claim (through the car) that the software is "up to date" when I know perfectly well that there is a later release currently in the process...

    Software update V2.0.13

We used to call it an "Apple minute," as in, "I'll be there in an Apple minute."

    When do we see 2.0?

I doubt it. I was "skipped" a few steps. If you are like most people once you get 2.0.x, you will suddenly get a bunch more. I actually had two today.
