    Well that spectacularly backfired

https://www.motortrend.com/news/stellantis-brands-maserati-ram-dodge-chrysler-alfa-romeo-fiat-sell-analysis/ Agree with not armchair CEO 'ing', but even though we have some skepticism on the quality of MT reporting they literally are up for review on the path forward after sales dropped 50%. I...

Lucid gravity order begins Nov 7

To be clear, I was referring to the Touring trim which definitely had staked its pricing just under the tax credit threshold, I expect they will honor this, but they may also have to drop prices depending on how the rest of the competition reacts....

    Well that spectacularly backfired

Do they also have the Saudi's bankrolling their money losing business? Stellantis has no money for this brand.

Lucid gravity order begins Nov 7

Yes, but I like many others took advantage of the lease loophole to get lower lease rates even though the Air doesn't qualify for tax credit, and our income was above threshold. This doesn't disproportionally affect Lucid more than any of the other 80K plus EVs but it could slow down overall...

Lucid gravity order begins Nov 7

I am more and more convinced the slow roll is two things; EV tax credit environment And Tesla superchargers. It has a NACS port, but reality is still software compatibility, total lack of V4 superchargers and exactly how they are going to make 900V work with the V3 magic dock is not totally solved.

    Well that spectacularly backfired

Maserati will be bankrupt before Lucid:) No way that is a step up for a company that sells less cars and loses more money...

    Well that spectacularly backfired

Q3 results were not financially that good, they clearly burnt more cash and had an increasing loss than before, share prices will track the inverse rate of cash flow and the dilution per share. You may be being given a gift if they actually have pulled dilution in earlier, I believe there may...

    Possibility of $7500 Gov't hand out going away . . . thoughts ? ?

I think this is also why they are delaying the Touring version of Gravity, they want more clarity on market pricing dynamics and with and with tax credits. I don't mind the leasing loophole closing either, there is also lowering Fed Funds rates which should help out the Financing option...

    Possibility of $7500 Gov't hand out going away . . . thoughts ? ?

Except they are still planning tariffs on imports so its entirely dependent on the OEM and whether they can price competitively in a local market or its cheaper to produce elsewhere and import. I believe most of Lucid's Mid-Size will be Saudi Imports...

    Wind noise

Has anyone noticed that after washing the car that wind noise increases? I have used normal foam cannon's and higher pressure washers and it seems to knock something out of place....

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I thought most of the EV makers determined it was actually more energy efficient to use heated seats vs HVAC for initial passenger comfort?

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

I don't think they have all the final specs, it's in some queue for EPA validation.

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

In the video Eric did with Out of Spec a couple months ago he did say they didn't use Cybertruck style 48V electrics because they didn't need it/had no benefit. The higher energy systems were running on 400V (Air Compressor, Heat Pump), so I believe this will also be used to make the DC fast...

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

I also tried to make an similar MB EQS SUV and AMG GLS and both were well into 125K without half the performance, space and range of the Gravity. Those vehicles have even more fluff options spam.

Lucid gravity order begins Nov 7

I always thought this was a specific option you had to select or purchase though? The only thing I can think is no glass roof? But you can today option up an Air with just about everything on the GT, and the motors are actually software limited, so its battery pack...
