Reminder: Opening the door puts the car in park!

Since no one ever did any of these things, has anyone ever NOT ripped the ebrake and swung the tail out? 🤣

    Insane residual on a 2024 LAT @ 18 month lease: 86%

Normal, no. Definitely winning: took delivery of my Pure AWD in Jan for considerably more upfront and monthly. What state is this deal?

    Wind noise

I can’t imagine the glass roof being the same; more hard surfaces, more sound reflected. The plush pillars and metal roof all lined with alcantara *have* to drink up ambient.

    Wind noise

Having metal roof and 19”, I don’t have appreciable wind noise. If glass roof, +noise. If larger wheels, +noise.

Who paid to keep Sirius? Most of our 'trials' expire in a few days!

I’ve got another few weeks left and I’m getting a “Subscribe on SiriusXM” blank. What the blankety blank.

Billionaire CEO died after Tesla reversed into lake. Why it took an hour to get her out

Unless you’re cheap like me and get a Pure where headrest is fixed into the seat back.

RESOLVED Can't find the keybob in my car!

Brings up another thought: can we unlink a lost keyfob in the Pilot Panel? The thought of not locking because a valet dropped my keyfob is bothersome.

Impressions of my first long road trip

I think mine is broken. My “lifetime” is 2 months and barely a tick over 3.1… I guess I gotta learn how to drive it like a grownup 😂

    NACS Megathread

Correction: I mistook EVDANCE as replying with a cert. Seller does not certify says not necessary. It’s FOCSPROD only with testing report and Lectron with SGS cert.

    NACS Megathread

I was surprised as well. I shared with @Worldwide Beagle and it’s by no means definitive but better than expected. Also: I searched specifically for UL listed/certified. There are many, many more that don’t bother with the distinction.

    NACS Megathread

So my bit of due diligence (or fool’s errand, depending on your perspective) has yielded results. Adapters from 8 Amazon stores listing products that allege UL listing, I received 6 replies. Of the 6, 4 sent supporting documentation. Of the 4, 1 is an FCC cert, 1 is an SGS cert and 2 are actual...

    NACS Megathread

That’s what I understood. Tesla charger to the Lucid’s J1772. Which set me on a rampage on Amazon, requesting UL file numbers from every vendor saying they are UL listed. I’ve actually gotten 2 testing reports from the 6 requested. Giving the other 4 the rest of the week, then I’ll have a new...

Navigation System on the Lucid, does it really work?

FWIW, through my own unscientific comparisons of HERE, CarPlay and Waze, I find HERE draws maps that are EV optimized (taking into account elevation changes) to mamize range/regen. The other observation is that ETA can be way off. Then again I’m in LA: you just cross your fingers, add 20 minutes...

CarPlay & Music Fade during turn-by-turn directions

My last car was Audi and CarPlay was my nav and worked as described. When selecting Lucid nav, CarPlay doesn’t quiet down. Also, my experience has been either Lucid nav or Apple/Google/Waze nav. Not both. If you start the second nav, the first ends routing and vice versa. So to get nav with...

No voice through Apple CarPlay phone calls

An issue I’ve experienced and find that I need to point iPhone to CarPlay, not LucidXXX Bluetooth link.
