    Arizona

On my recent trip to AZ, my internal temp was 135°, so I turned the climate control on for 20 minutes before I got in the car and it was perfect. Outside temp was 106°

Lucid Air is Almost the Perfect Electric Car

I would say for me, this is the perfect car. I have never owned a car that I liked more.

    New configurator

As much as I liked the old configurator, it did have some performance issues. They may have decided a well working site is better than a site that was cool and worked part of the time.

    Level 2 Charging question

The one thing I would add to this is that after taking the car to 100% before my last trip, I will not do that again. The car behaves differently. (Regen doesn't have anyplace to go) So, I take it to 95% before a long trip, but would probably have been fine with 80%.

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

For city driving, I think the key is how long is your trip and how much time you are spending not moving at all. I will do the experiment of driving from my home to work with the Touring and the Chevy Volt and see what the usage difference is. Should be very straight forward.

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

I can just hear the debate in the software room. No matter what they choose, they will be wrong. If you take the average mi/kWh over the last x miles it can really flex based on the conditions. On my last trip I had times where I was over 6 mi/kWh (back country road) and coming off mountains it...

    Car Buzz review

I was asked today how Lucid compares to Tesla and my reply was that Lucid compares with BMW and Mercedes. Tesla is in a different game.

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

Just finished trip from SF Bay Area to Arizona and back. A lot of highway driving (generally over 80) Went over mountains in Northern (through Jerome) and Southern (Mt. Lemon). Kept AC running while we went to lunch. Bottom line was 2,477.7 miles, used 677 kWh for 3.7 mi/kWh.
