Changes for 2023??? Value of 2022

Great to hear, Dave…..And, I am also happy for you, as well. I ended up doing a full PPF to my car after watching Coletin’s video on the black GT that he and Kyle had in the shop several months ago. (I just didn’t want to risk having an issue once I received my car.) And, while I don’t know...

Quantum Gray GT Stealth - 20”

I agree about the red brake calipers. They look awesome, especially with those 21” wheels. Absolutely stunning!

    BMW i5 M60 review

Honestly, while I now own a Lucid, I have long owned BMW’s, especially 5 series sedans. They are great cars and the i5, while not as up-to-date on the EV side as the Lucid, is likely to be very well received. In my experience over many years, my BMW’s were all built extremely well and, if...

Quantum Gray GT Stealth - 20”

That’s really beautiful, but it doesn’t look like it’s a quantum grey. The picture makes it seem like the car is a shade of blue. Am I wrong about this? Regardless, it’s really very beautiful. Enjoy!

If available, would you prefer monochromatic roof paint or two-tone like currently offered?

My installer said the same thing regarding useful life with PPF over vinyl. And, yes, I did do the gloss black and tinted the side and rear windows. Honestly, the gloss black goes well with the roof and tinted windows. But, it’s a chocolate vs vanilla ice cream issue. No wrong answer, just a...

If available, would you prefer monochromatic roof paint or two-tone like currently offered?

My installer recommended that I wrap and then PPF over the wrap to maximize the wrap‘s useful life. The reason given to wrap with black vinyl over using black ppf in a one step process is that the wrap is only around 2 mil thick and can cover more of the tight spaces and get underneath them...

Could someone post a photoshop or actual photo of a Quantum Grey with a chrome delete

Is that a Stealth? Front of car where LUCID is looks like it’s on black trim as opposed to the color of the typical Stealth car. Probably the lighting. Looks awesome, regardless.

Could someone post a photoshop or actual photo of a Quantum Grey with a chrome delete

Thanks so much! Your car was the inspiration. Our cars are essentially fraternal twins. If our wheels were the same, they would be identical for all practical purposes, I think.

    Dual MagSafe phone charging

Hi: I have used an extender and it has not made a difference. Unfortunately, when I connect to USB-A and use the adapter, my left side charger doesn’t work. When I use the USB C (w/ or w/o extender), neither side works. Wish I could say otherwise. Your support and response times have been...

Could someone post a photoshop or actual photo of a Quantum Grey with a chrome delete

Just to add to this discussion, I am going to include a few photos of my Quantum Grey with Chrome Delete.

Quantum Gray GT Stealth - 20”

Essentially, it’s wrapping the chrome in vinyl (black in my case) and then covering the vinyl with PPF. I was told that the vinyl wrap (2 mil thick) would only last a few years at best if not wrapped with ppf, which is warranted for 10 years. My ppf installer warranted the full installation...

Quantum Gray GT Stealth - 20”

I can appreciate your trepidation. I too was nervous about purchasing mine (delivered March 25th of this year). All I can say is that my Touring was delivered in excellent condition and has exceeded my expectations thus far. I also had the car go through a chrome-delete process before being...

    RESOLVED Rear quarter panel buckles

It’s a very odd place for that indentation to occur with the car door closed and no other visible damage. I’m wondering if it’s possible that someone used a rubber mallet when adjusting the rear quarter panel to address alignment issues prior to delivery and you’re just noticing this now.

    Paying before seeing car!

I too went through this process, wired funds while my vehicle was being prepped in Chicago and took delivery at Short Hills, NJ. While it’s unsettling to have to pay up-front, sight-unseen, I can only tell you that I did agree to do that and the delivery process was absolutely seamless My...

Did anyone have a poor/delayed delivery?

Personally, I had a great delivery experience a little over a month ago. My DA spent over 2 hours with us, patiently answered all of our questions and walked us through everything that the car had to offer. Honestly, I think that one of the keys to a good delivery experience is scheduling...

Thanks for the explanation. Sorry for not appreciating the distinction and going off track in my reply.

    Lucid Home Charger

To answer your specific question, I don’t believe one is required. The unit itself has built-in GFCI protection, as is required of all hard-wired chargers, I believe.

    Lucid Home Charger

I had the LHCS installed earlier today. I used both Ethernet and wifi and had no issues with the installation. I was able to log onto the LHCS while on ethernet and before I configured wifi by accessing 192.168.1.10. After configuring wifi, I noticed that it now has an ethernet IP address AND...

PPF and Tint done at Golfcoast Auto and Shield

Thanks so much for that information. From the photo, I thought that you had been able to match the Quantum Grey paint or come very close. This helps, regardless. Thanks again and I hope that you are enjoying your Lucid. It looks great!
