Air Conditioning not cooling the car enough

I think you make excellent points. As pointed out on this board, some appear to be satisfied with their A/C, while others like myself find it to be inadequate during the hot summer days.

Charging manners: should you educate folk hogging to 100% SOC ?

Most sensible people know not to operate a forklift when you are taking Oxycodon. Blame goes both ways. Your client needs to take some responsibility for his injury as well as the stupidity of the manager.

    3B Raise/Offering

That's not to say you are not right, as I am sure there are plenty of MBA's that are not worth the paper their degree is printed on.

    3B Raise/Offering

My brother and his wife who both have Harvard MBA's appear to be the exception to the rule. They both have attained a vast storehouse of knowledge and have been highly successful in their fields. I don't stand a chance against them in answering Jeopardy questions

Air Conditioning not cooling the car enough

The A/C is marginal at best and the fan is very noisy when turned to a higher setting.

    Insurance company claim experience.

My car is still being worked on after my accident, but I get a weekly e-mail from PURE updating the status of the repair and they have not contested any charge so far.

    Insurance company claim experience.

You get a discount with them after 5 years, then a significant discount after 10 years. You may pay more, but you don't have to worry about them refusing to pay what it costs to fix your car. Isn't that what insurance is all about. Otherwise, it may cost you less at other companies, but you...

    Insurance company claim experience.

I am dealing with PURE at present. They are great and never try to nickel and dime you. They cost more, but you actually have full insurance when you need it unlike other insurance companies.

Does Lucid have a 3rd party loaner program?

After my accident(12 weeks ago) Enterprise has a relationship with my insurance company(PURE) which allows me $15,000 total rental car fee while my car is being repaired. Enterprise was charging $150 a day for a Tesla Model S, $500 a day for a Porsche 911 Carrera convertible and $1,000 a day for...

Pirelli Tire Issue & Warranty Megathread

A question for the tire experts here. It seems a lot of people are having blowouts with their 21 inch tires. I thought that it was the lower sidewall(30-35) that made the tire more susceptible to potential damage. If the tire was a 21 inch tire and had a 40 or 45 ratio instead of 30-35...

    Intermittent wiper issues?

Torrential rain is not the problem. Low and high work fine. Intermittent is either laggy or non existent.

    Intermittent wiper issues?

Yes. I also have a problem in that I can't get the intermittent wipers to work as it should. Either too fast, normal or not at all. No intermittent. Put the wipers back on the stalk where they belong. Sometimes getting rid buttons causes problems where there was none before. I agree with...

    Air Conditioning

I have also found the A/C to be marginal at best, yet there are others on this board that find otherwise. I am going to make a guess that maybe the ones who find it adequate are owners who live in the hotter climates like AZ and Florida. I have 2 brothers that relocated to Florida when they...

    20K miles and 16 months

While I am waiting for my AGT to be repaired, I have rented(via my insurance company) a Polestar 2 from Enterprise. Genuinely unimpressed with the Polestar. It does the job of transportation, but nothing really stands out except for it can get you to the store and back without a problem. I...

    RESOLVED Deteriorating Service

The problem is not that my car is waiting for a part from Lucid. The problem is that Bel-Red Auto Rebuild can't even examine the underside of my car till they get a part for their bench table. Only then can they decide on a repair plan. If Lucid had contracted with Bel-Red Auto Rebuild to...

    RESOLVED Deteriorating Service

I am not happy with Lucid as well. I live in Portland Oregon and 4 and 1/2 weeks ago I swerved to avoid hitting a car and crashed into a curb. The exterior of my car was untouched except for the rims and tires on the passenger side. When I got home, battery fluid and windshield washer fluid...

    Luck o' the Irish

Yes, but does your knee replacement use titanium or some other metal alloy which is magnetic and will set off the machines at TSA?
  19. W

    Luck o' the Irish

Be curious to know why, unless there are some screws or plates that are also used in the procedure, though from what I understand, I thought it was just a ball and socket repair with the titanium ball fitting into the socket.

    Luck o' the Irish

I did not think that titanium set off metal detectors. I have 9 titanium tooth implants and not once have they ever set off the detectors at the TSA. I thought that the metal would have to be steel or some other iron alloy to set it off, though I never really investigated this to see if it...
