My experience with Hey Lucid is that it’s quite slow, unreliable, and sometimes inexplicably incompetent. But @hmp10’s story is making me wonder if it’s diabolically brilliant instead…😂😂
The tires have been very durable, no problems that I’ve experienced. The skinny spoke HRE’s do get bent maybe a bit more easily than I would have hoped I suppose. I’m over 40k miles now.
This is old news by now but I just haven’t gotten around to commenting - sorry if this topic is repetitive. I find that the latest OTA update has advanced HA to the point where long road trips have become quite easy and pleasurable (especially compared to pre-HA or early HA days).

Hey sorry for my delayed reply. I haven’t had any problems with the roof racks and as far as I can remember they were pretty easy to install. Mainly just carry my bike. Nothing fancy although I wanted to buy the cargo pod. I think the roof racks are great, and look decent too.
I had my guy apply high heat ceramic paint to that inner part almost 2 years ago and still holding up perfectly today. The other parts will rub off with brake usage as has been mentioned above.
Hm didn’t realize the 2024 AGT had a new heat pump upgrade. And why the 15-30% faster DC charging speed versus the old AGT? I wonder if the new heat pump can be retrofitted to my 2022 model 🤔
I love my lucid and generally have had almost no problems with it, but I wouldn’t accept ANY of the above. Glad to hear that most of the list has been sorted for you by now but all of those things should just be routinely perfect imo. Maybe also press to have your trunk misalignment issue...
A dashcam is relatively easy to set up. But that doesn’t give a ‘sentry mode’ sort of ability which I assume could be had if even some of the many lucid cameras were made available for that usage. That’s what’s on the top of my wish list now.
Dropped car off at Costa Mesa service center and got a GT loaner. Smooth easy process. Drove down from Vancouver, Canada to Orange County, CA on this potentially faulty battery with no problems. Limped into one charging station at 1% battery remaining and an estimated 4 miles.

Wonder why he didn’t actually demo the capacitive touch control by sliding and pressing the button. Are those just dummy buttons in that vehicle? Love the panel interface and redesigned floating panel.
This goes without saying, but I tried to make a go of deep snow driving on the 21’s with OEM p zero’s - an absolute unmitigated disaster, undrivable. I’ve since driven through light snow on 21’s with pilot sport AS’s which seemed ok.
