Which is the best home charging system?

That is my problem except I have a 225 amp panel and still don't have enough juice available.

If you believe that...go for it.

    Arizona

Yes, in Arizona. Cops who pull you over for speeding will often use that as a tool to get you to agree to the ticket ("I scanned you going more htan 20 miles over the speed limit; that is criminal but you seem like a nice guy so I will write it up as a civil ticket")!

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

A binding purchase contract is not the same thing as a non-refundable deposit. If one can back out and only forfeit the deposit, I don't see that qualifying.

    Las Vegas Studio Updates

Understood. On the other hand, the population of Las Vegas is pretty small compared to the markets where Lucid has put its design studios. The good news is that Las Vegas is only a 5 hour drive from Scottsdale and I think even closer/shorter to Los Angeles.

"It's the same when it comes to the EV space. The dinosaurs aren't competitive at all. They're not making efficient EV's and are really struggling to transition into tech companies. They've got decades of manufacturing experience yet they still do things like it's the good old days. You just...

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

"enacted" generally means when it is passed by the legislative body and signed by the executive. "Effective" would represent a determined start date. For example, Congress might pass a tax bill in June but want it to be effective at the start of the calendar year. So the enacted date would be...

Toyota’s bZ4X recall isn’t going great – company offers car buyback

I would be curious to know why. Was it to save money? Or was it to get better range and performance? I would hope the latter but suspect the former.

    Lane Departure Intervention... Ugghh

That is what I did/do on my DD. Left the warning on but turned off the lane changer. One of the annoying things my DD would do if I left it on was to what to turn me into a highway exit as the right lane painting turned into an exit!

Yes but sad at the same time. I think Elon is worried that all the new BEVs will eat into his sales. he should be. His arrogance has cost hiim a lot of sales. When Tesla was the only kid on the block, it could do whatever it wanted (e.g., no binnacle display; bad fit and finish; the yoke...

Poll: Lucid Air Touring/Pure Reservation Holders, if the new EV tax bill passes, would you reconsider your reservation?

Very true BUT if it means that Lucid is committed to getting it right, I understand.

Poll: Lucid Air Touring/Pure Reservation Holders, if the new EV tax bill passes, would you reconsider your reservation?

Seeing all these folks saying they will cancel means that I will probably get mine sooner. Since I reserved some time back, I am already getting a discount that exceeds the federal credit. 1

Toyota’s bZ4X recall isn’t going great – company offers car buyback

What counts, or doesn't count, on a voluntary buy back is what Toyota says counts. I have owned many Toyotas in the past. But if it were me, I would take the buyback. I wouldn't be able to trust a car maker that can't make cars whose wheels may fall off and after discovering it, can't figure...

    Highway driving, traffic

You are comparing apples and oranges in an SUV (Jag) and sedan (Lucid). That aside, the Lucid is longer but the Jag is much wider. I would always prefer a sedan to an SUV so long as the sedan can meet my carrying needs. I have test driven the Lucid (they haven't started producing Pures yet...

I am keeping mine. My only caveat is that Lucid needs to finish cleaning up its software.
