Mine defaults to last setting in the car. It does not default to furthest. Not sure why our cars are different in that regard.

I hear you. I would look up what establishment the EA charger was at (usually Walmart) and then ask Alexa for that location. Worked pretty well as a work-around. I also used Waze as a constant backup. Can’t wait to get 1.2.6.

I think it depends on the type of driving. I don’t see a difference in highway driving and did a test of with and without on way from Florida to CT and there wasn’t any difference. I do think you can get better mileage like @GEWC in suburban driving by slowly decelerating manually.
