I only tried it when I purchased my vehicle then switched to CarPlay. I too felt that the AQ was pretty good on the new SXM trial. SXM streaming is always better than satellite which tends to be very compressed.

Rivian recently added this feature (T-company has had it for awhile). Hopefully, Lucid will add as well soon.

I brought this exact issue up on Reddit months ago and was downvoted into oblivion. I bet these vehicles will become uninsurable

Yes, same happened for me. I plan on trying again after the 3 month trial ends. $5 is good, but $99/3yr is better.

Unfortunately, there is no way to sign in with your own credentials. Only can be activated via radio ID by SXM. You can use CarPlay and you phone SXM app

Whelp, I just tried and had to call. They wouldn't give me the promotion on the Air. May just have to wait and try again when the in vehicle trial ends. I currently use the app over CarPlay as well.

Don't forget, insurance may be more (or harder to get) for the GT vs Touring. Check with your current agent/company for rates.

Yep .. Ive been doing that for 15+ years. I have streaming only for $5/mo, but this is a much better deal and includes a "radio"

Just found this link ... 3 years for $99 ... pretty good deal. I may "activate" the app radio in my Lucid to get this deal. Still includes app streaming. Then switch it to the Rivian as they are implementing the same App/LTE implementation in early 2024 and use CarPlay only in the Lucid...

Mine passenger side was completely missing at delivery. Lucid had to order a new piece to replace. Honestly, I haven't gone back to check to see if they are still in place. Will definitely need to do so.
