Any other real world experiences on the new update? I can now report the car does indeed seem to respond more swiftly than before. It also doesn't seem to lock as quickly which is also a good thing. This has been a central compliant among Air users here. I'm surprised there aren't more...

I'll take the positive press all day, however garnered. I also think it's warranted, by the way. Software aside, it's one of the best cars I've ever owned. I think people sometimes forget about all of the other aspects of the vehicle aside form the software. It's a real joy to drive.

So I've only been able to really test this a few times today in the wild. I detect possibly a slightly faster unlock but I can't tell if its just perception or actual reality. Considering the standard thought on this was they've basically done all they can under hardware limitations of the Air...

The Volvo Gemini integration is amazing. Basically the best I’ve ever seen in a vehicle.

There was a new app update last night that supposedly improves responsiveness with the phone unlocking. Will test today to see if there’s any noticeable difference.

Just noticed these lines on the side bolsters today. I had a prior tear on a side bolster and more recently on the upper center section. Both replaced under warranty.

That’s a good point too. The amount of time it takes to unlock after it auto locks with my kids in the car is unnerving sometimes.

The auto locking with children in the car is an issue. The bigger issue is the car locks too quickly, even if you’re just walking around the other side to get your kid out. It happens every day for me.
