Is it clear if the new credit proposal only applies to after the initial 200k produced?
Maybe the original $7500 credit still applies to the first 200k vehicles and the new proposal is only for after 200k produced?
That would make a whole lot more sense.
Yeah dude. People that make changes like that move to the end of the line. Pures on 20" will be delivered before yours. And everyone wants Tahoe interior, they're out of stock on Tahoe now.
LOL - Just joking, I have no clue.
The thing about having an EV with high range is it seems to make the world a little smaller. I'm in Oregon but that is only a day trip away while running on free electricity. Seattle will be my "local" service center.
I do understand everyone's frustrations on this and agree that they should have a well communicated message strategy that makes it easier on their team to provide us with a response. Unfortunately, a heavily qualified response is about as worthless as no response, but some would receive it well...
We can only speculate as to what is contributing to their delays. Perhaps some components may need more rigorous testing before getting a final stamp of approval. Maybe some processes need attention to meet quality standards. I'd much rather prefer a well-tested and built machine over one that...
I think they look good with or without the cover - like retro classic muscle car wheels but bigger and better.
The 20 & 21 blades are more of an eye-catching modern look that is a must for exotic sports cars - the Lucid wears both styles elegantly.
If it's your car, you do what you want with it...
I think its the use case mix. EVs deliver value through lots of efficient use as your DD vehicle. Whereas the heavy duty hauler should only be used when hauling is needed and that is not often enough to warrant going the EV route - batteries like to be used, they don't like to sit. Ironically...
I've seen some confusion on the forum about whether you can get a pure reservation today and upgrade it to a GT months from now and yet keep the old pricing.
My SA said that would not be an option.
However, I do like the 20" rims, so I have a small delay for my GT in either case.
First things...
Got my invite to confirm GT order today - reserved yesterday, that didn't take long.
Now I have 30 days to either make the plunge or chicken out. Which will it be?
I also have a Pure reservation as a backup plan.
