    Software version 3.3.2

Quick update - got the car back. 1. Re-loaded the android module (not replace) 2. Replace the NFC unit in the center console Back home and charging. 🤞 So far so good. A couple of oddities I noticed (and can replicate every time) 1. Speeds around 75MPH I can still hear the booming sound -...

    Software version 3.3.2

Most manufacturers do sequential since that is a predictable route. so you should see 3.3.3 and 3.3.4 etc. Every now and then there’s a major release (say jumping from 3.* to a 4.* and that will require a min 3.x.x to upgrade from. That’s how it’s on Teslas.

Same issue like mine. Seems a fairly decent bug on 3.3.2. Can’t wait for fixes and upgrades. Fixed plus Apple Car key and CarPlay will solve a bunch of concerns.

Yeah.. definitely seems like that. Hopefully the ones being assembled now won't have that issue.

Quick update on my gravity (from the SC) For the android screen issue : They had to do a clean install - still in diagnostics- but SC tech mentioned that it's working well now. I can see they applied 3.3.2 twice after the refresh, and looks like the second time the size was smaller (I could...

    Software version 3.3.2

A little birdie told me that 3.3.3 is going to be released sooner than lucid was expecting. Not unexpected- and glad they are on it. For my specific situation, I’ll know more tomorrow. They were able to diagnose and swap something. I can see the firmware being applied.

    Software version 3.3.2

My understanding is that the drivers that listen to signals from hardware are not in Java or a memory safe language. That’s typically the cause of leaks. Good example is the TPMS. Even though it’s a solved problem for most cars, a new tire pressure monitor hardware vendor may have a brand new...

Oh- have you seen the new BMW and Mercedes ui that they just released ? Atrocious.

FWIW, I could see at least 10-15 Gravitys getting prepped and detailed for delivery. Lucid folks are awesome. I am just jittery at the moment and really hoping this is a small hurdle.

Motor trend Lucid Gravity review with Kyle Conner

Got in the car in the AM - all screens were blank. Waited 30s.. no change, so rebooted (10s). This time the system didn't come back as expected. Called SC and per their direction I let the system sleep for 10-15 mins. Tried to wake up again and still no dice. Car is with SC now - they are...

Didn’t fix it unfortunately. I was able to put the car in drive so tried to hobble back home. On call with the Natick MA service center. Pray for me. 🙏

You weren’t kidding about the android system. My gravity crashed today. I can see the android recovery screen now. 😭

I i’m not disagreeing with the complexity, and perhaps that’s not where this discussion should go. The fact that we’ve all bought or are in the process of owning the Gravity means we are all fascinated, and impressed by it. This feedback is supposed to be constructive. It’s not a bad thing...

Motor trend Lucid Gravity review with Kyle Conner

Perhaps one way of thinking about this is - if someone upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10, should the same software issues that were found and fixed in windows 7, still exist in the new version? And it’s really not just that. The pace of fixing them has also decreased and random new bugs...

Motor trend Lucid Gravity review with Kyle Conner

They immediately switched to talking about “testing the car” etc. - speculating - definitely seems there was some external bump / impact. These testing and loaner cars are taking a beating. Non stop launch modes, non stop bumping and scraping. The detailing, body repair shop and drivetrain...

Motor trend Lucid Gravity review with Kyle Conner

Today's experience was less than ideal. Car detected the fob, screens were on, but we could not hear any sound from Spotify / tidal / radio / audible alarms inside etc. I had to manually reboot while the family was in the car - kids literally said "this car sucks". Spouse said this car is too...

    Software version 3.3.2

I’m curious if Lucid has a private test group or something ? Perhaps some anecdotal data from this forum will help them. It’s tricky but I’m sure a lot of folks here will be happy to help in some way.

    Software version 3.3.2

Dang it. I ended up having to reboot on my evening drive with the kids. Wasn't a pleasant experience but got me thinking. 1. After reboot the whole UI was much snappier. 2. The "Hey Lucid" assistant didn't work properly for a few seconds (likely takes a little bit for that module to load)...

Motor trend Lucid Gravity review with Kyle Conner

You are 100% right. Been using my gravity for a couple of days now, and barring a couple of minor issues, it’s great. Yes, Kyle can come across as smug, but I don’t blame him. he has his opinions. I’m not trying to complain or rehash issues that are covered in other threads. I truly want...
