    3rd row seat removal

    That’s apples and oranges.

    3rd row seat removal

So, I’m told when seats are removed from vehicles for repair in the service center an SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) fault appears on the center clearview cockpit.

    Aftermarket phone mount option (MagSafe)

Could you mount it on the right side instead of the left?

    3rd row seat removal

I’m going to be attending the Atlanta Lucid Owners Club event tomorrow. Unfortunately, it is not being held at the service center. Ideally, there will be a tech there who I can corner and ask. Either way I need to establish a good relationship with one of the techs for questions like this. I...

    3rd row seat removal

The most important thing would be the torque wrench setting for the bolts holding the seats.

I finally turned the HUD off today

That’s what someone else on this board (I can’t remember who) called that gap behind the second row seats. I thought it was appropriately named.

    3rd row seat removal

I tend to agree with you. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away I was an electrical engineer. Unplugging things without being certain is usually not a good idea. And as far as I can tell there is no way to power down the car while a door is open. Ideally, I need to talk to a tech.

    3rd row seat removal

Yeah, that’s an option, but electrically, guessing and hoping aren’t good ideas.

    3rd row seat removal

The Dream Edition only came as a 7-seater, or I would’ve gladly gotten it without the 3rd row.

    3rd row seat removal

So, I did some due diligence on the 3rd row seats: Mechanically it looks like the 3rd row can be removed fairly easily. With the covers removed you can see that the seats are anchored with 6x15mm bolts (3 each seat) and two nuts holding the center swing arm bracket. If you look closely the...

    3rd row seat removal

Has anyone investigated 3rd row seat removal? I have absolutely no use for the 3rd row and would like the additional under floor storage for tools, etc. I know the removal would be semi-permanent. I’ve removed the driver’s seat from my BMW M5 before. It wasn’t hard. All that was required was...

I finally turned the HUD off today

Yeah, I’ve already got it on the the lowest brightness. If it would dim more that might make it less distracting, although harder to see/less useful.

I finally turned the HUD off today

There is a vertical adjustment on the touchscreen for the HUD, but it doesn’t place the image low enough on the windshield. The image is basically in your line of sight, even at the lowest vertical setting.

    Floor mats

Same with mine. I’m not sure laying it out in the sun will help, since ultimately it may be too wide. Fortunately, the lump is not large. Overall, I’m very happy with the mat and its ability to protect the carpet underneath from anything that leaks from those Costco runs.

I finally turned the HUD off today

Interesting to know. I can’t understand how vertical positioning wasn’t caught and fixed in the Gravity prototype. Don’t get me started on the watermelon holder.
