Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

Unless there is something else going on I'd actually expect the Gravity (and Air) to do better the higher the MPH. Given that the resistance rises as the square of the velocity (i.e. speed) and the Gravity and Air have good CD's compared to other cars in their class....

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

@marqie You might want to mention this on the swfeedback pinned message, that feature requests are also receivable on the [email protected] email address.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

And it is only 50 seconds so fits right into a standard media spot. Brilliant Kim Java 👍

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

Well that's highly suboptimal. I guess need to put that in as a feature request @marqie. Would like to be able to give the car a window (start AND stop) for charging.

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

At our Long Beach house electricity is $0.59/KWH from 4:00pm-9:00pm. All other times the price is $0.26/KWH so it pays to not charge from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. I've looked at the scheduling and can find a "start time" but haven't seen a "stop time" as part of the schedule. Am I looking in the...

Detroit to Hilton Head Island: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly (plus the weird and the wacky)

The resistance goes up as the square of the speed (i.e. 1/2MV^2). So as the speed goes up from 60 to 70 the resistance goes up 4900*M*1/2 vs. 3600*M*1/2 or over 36% for a 17% increase in speed. As speed increases this resistance just gets more pronounced.

    Spotify is constantly skipping songs

@jb82 Is the problem on Lucid's side of things? There seem to be reports that the problem is a change that Spotify made which means Lucid really wouldn't be at fault here.

I didn't know the middle of the 2nd row folds down (14:48 in the video).

    Wheel locks

I'd think that wheel locks would deter the pros. The professional thieves would move on to the next car which doesn't have the wheel locks. They would only take the time for gravity wheels with wheel locks if someone requested that particular wheel type. This is really the whole idea of wheel...

Excellent service from Lucid's new body shop in Millbrae

@goldengate is this part of the millbrae service center or is there some other location we are supposed to contact? Have a scrape on the passenger side and want to get a second opinion (the first opinion was $6500 which I thought was a bit steep).

    HOV lanes

I actually didn't find this to be much of a problem. If I was in the fast lane on I5 and someone wanted to go around me they could do so. Those cars quickly cleared in front of me (I sometimes drive in the fast lane on I5 as the slow lane can sometime be a bit torn up because of the heavy...

    HOV lanes

@Aka-none The adaptive cruise control works great in heavy traffic. While I had it set to 71MPH it slowed down perfectly when I hit traffic. Much nicer than having to regulate the accelerator yourself. Did this on I580 in California going east on the altamont pass (that's where I hit...

[Suggestions] Software features from other brands that make sense

Your first request is already there (and I think has been for awhile, Lucid just added the rear seats). If you have the ac/heat on and shutdown the car the same settings will be on when you next get into the car. can't comment on music apps as I only use Sirius XM This is what HUD is isn't it...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

So is Lucid going to be putting the DD2 Pro hardware on all cars hoping that folks will be a subscription package to use it? The reason I was told for the $5,250 cost increase was extra hardware for the L2++ features (and perhaps L3)

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

For the Gravity Grand Touring with Dream Drive 2 Premium you get the adaptive cruise control WITH lane centering (so slightly different for at least the Gravity).

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

Don't most other manufacturers charge a subscription fee for FSD type service? I think Tesla is going towards a subscription fee ($99/month according to GOOG). Also FSD was initially $10,000 when the Model Y came out. I think it got raised to $15,000 not long after if you didn't buy FSD with...

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

Car nav has the built in "charge your car here" automatically which neither google nor apple has built in. For longer trips car nav is better, for around town and short trips perhaps use apple or google maps

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

As @Bdr100 says above the key fob is a reasonably standard key fob which you might see on any car. It uses UWB (Ultra Wide Band) for the communication with the car instead of bluetooth (the Lucid Air uses a bluetooth key fob). The key card is a credit car sized NFC card which you hold against...
