Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

I agree. That leaves ability, which is maybe more disturbing. Here's hoping 3.0 is a clean reset so they have control of the features

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

Completely crazy decision on their part. I would have just politely declined to lend him a car of any sort

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

A couple, of things: 1. Some of his issues were significant (the roll thing for one); some were insignificant. His first video detailed issues with his phone and profile selection which were, eh, they should work but really they are dumb features anyway (imo) 2. How bad at decision making does...

    19" vs 20" Wheels

19s basically do everything better, but whether it's worth the bucks is up to you

My totally unsolicited idea on how to improve Lucid Service

Thanks for the clarification. Only reason cars need alignments is if something is bent, or a worn/broken part has been replaced. It's a ADP item 90% of the time

My totally unsolicited idea on how to improve Lucid Service

Wait, a wheel alignment is part of scheduled service? If so, that's a scam

Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

Fair question. I would say the only salient point right now is they can't and they need to deliver a safe solution that works NOW.

Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

Yes, that's what I do. That only works because the car senses the key while you are outside. I'm suggesting that they should turn this feature off. They haven't figured out how to make that stuff work consistently. Key Fobs were a solved issue 20 years ago, but then manufacturers started adding...

Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

When you say it doesn't work, can you be more specific?

Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

I am very sorry you had this terrible, terrible moment. Today, in May 2026, the best solution is for Lucid to get rid of autolock and unlock ,phone as a key, proximity detection and anything that doesn't involve pressing the fob button to lock and unlock the car. All those things are minor...

Anyone ever been to a drive-in movie with their AIr?

Anyone ever been to a drive-in movie with their AIr?

So, there is a local drive in that is offering some fun movies this spring and summer and I'm wondering if anyone has ever gone to a drive-in with their Air, and if so, what "mode" they used. Ideally, the climate and stereo works, but no exterior lights are on and dash lights/screens are off or...

    Air Version 2.9.0

Or just use the key fob and forget the phone as a key thing. To each their own, but it seems way more trouble than it's worth
