If you slip the fob in a Faraday pouch and then hang 'em and you won't wear out anything including a bunch of fob batteries I leave one at home and use one at the office.

No, I get it for the RADAR Detector because RADAR fans out and the alert on the detector can give you that slow down time...but with LIDAR they already have your speed recorded by the time your detector alerts; there is no time to slow down. They got you. A jammer in use comes back to the cop...

Excuse my ignorance, but when most law enforcement used Ka, K, and X band RADAR these detectors seemed way more useful, but now that most agencies (at least here in Calif) now use LIDAR aren't you already confirmed on record exceeding the prima facia speed limit by the time your detector alerts...
