A good way to check battery health?

To add to the community's crowdsourcing data, here's mine, courtesy of Lucid Tracker! This is my 2022 GT-P, purchased in Q3 2024. Production was Aug 2022 where it ended up being a demo vehicle at Lucid until I bought it in 2024. I was the first actual registered owner. No idea on the...

A good way to check battery health?

Hmmmm. I was just thinking about this and I wonder if the default calculation is based on a faulty assumption of 112 kWh battery pack instead of the DE's special 118 kWh pack. Because if it is, that is exactly 93%....

    NACS Megathread

Seems like you should have just gone with the Lucid official NACS-to-CCS1 adapter, since those have proven to work just fine. But in any case, the Lectron should be fine as well. Also, I would assume you'll be just fine with using EA-exclusively anyways since they have enough EA & APS stations...

    Charging extension cord?

There are no DCFC extensions cords that have proven to be safe to extend the short charging cables on the older Tesla V3 cabinets. If the station is busy and you are unable to take up two stalls and pull up very close to the cabinet, then you're better off looking for a Tesla V3.5 station...

Years of Persistent Software Failures - Lucid Air Software Team’s Incompetence is Unacceptable

From the OP's list, the only thing I've experienced after nearly 50K miles of driving my Air is the intermittent bluetooth connectivity. But that happens once every 4 or 5 weeks, which really is no different than what I've experienced with my Teslas, or really any other car with bluetooth. My...

    Lucid Air vs Porsche Taycan

Great comparison & notes! Thank you for sharing. The Lucid Air is beautiful, and the Tacan from many angles are just as beautiful in different ways. And uhhhh....that's about it as far as I'm concerned. My Taycan's steering feel might be just a little bit better feeling than my Air, but I think...

    Locked out of Gravity -

No, this is not unique to Lucid. My Model X has done this as well with the phone key inside of it on the OEM charging pad, but in that case, pressing the door handle on the Model X didn't even unlock it. Luckily, one of our dogs was active at the commotion going on outside of the car, and ended...

    Spare tire

I know this is the Gravity forum and I have an Air, but FWIW, last August in the Nevada heat, I picked up a nail and quickly lost pressure. Had to pull off the I-15 and in the 115 degree heat I used my Modern Spare kit and had zero issues with the included jack stand and the wrench. The toughest...

21,000-Mile Review: Living with the Lucid Air Sapphire

Awesome long term review, thanks for sharing! You should have a basic, dumb-ish cruise control option already....with DreamDrive active/armed, just press and hold the same DreamDrive button and it should switch to Adaptive Cruise Control. At least that's what my GTP does.

    2.8.17 update

Deep sleep cycle might not help this issue. I've done that SoCal to Phoenix trip & back maybe 4 or 5X already with HFDA and yes there are spots during that drive where it consistently loses HFDA and defaults to DA. There's also a long stretch between Vegas and SoCal driving southbound on I-15...

    ECU Upgrade Question

This. For me, my CCCv2 upgrade addressed some of the minor issues that you also pointed out. Even though it was just an infotainment upgrade, the snappiness of that seems to have made a difference in resolving general boot up issues.

Drive Assist and Cars Cutting In

Same. I usually set it to 3 out of 4 when I'm driving around in states like TX with high speed limits, but on the west coast I have it set to 2 out of 4. I've not experienced what the OP is describing here.

Driving to and staying in Las Vegas

No problems with heat. I've spent many weeks in Vegas during 110+ days and just recently did a trip from Southern California to Texas and back in the heat wave two weeks ago where the entire trip was 100+ degrees. On that trip I covered 1000 miles a day in 100+ temps. No problems with the temps...

    OTA Update 2.6.16

Saw a couple of posts here and wanted to chime in. I also got a Drive Systems Warning after 2.6.16 update. Lucid Service took care of it with this being the reported issue and fix for me: Cause: Coolant 5 port valve malfunction Corrections: unable to verify concern checked codes and found...

[RESOLVED BY OTA 2.7.0] Car won’t go into DRIVE !

Just an additional data point here: This happened to me a few times not long after an OTA update, but it was a few months ago back in the Jan 2025 time frame and it was immediately after I unplugged from an EA charging session. It would take a minute or two for the car to go into Drive. This...

Drive Assist Cancelled error with 2.6.0

I get this with 2.6.0 as well but to be fair, I was also getting this with 2.5.x also. Sometimes I can go several days & hundreds of miles without this happening. But then there are days (like today) where it happens 5+ times over the course of a ~50 mile drive. Since this happens along the...

    Rear-ended by a 100MPH drunk driver

I'm glad you and your daughter are ok and hopefully she continues to be ok! 🙏 That must have been scary. I was just in Chandler for a few days with my Lucid in November, and also noticed that the normal flow of traffic seems to be quite a bit higher than in California and there does seem to be...

    Traffic jam assist?

How about the drowsy driver monitoring, do you have that turned on? I've never enabled that myself.

    Traffic jam assist?

Yes, I meant Distracted Driver Warning. Really? With Traffic Jam Assist, I am at 0% success with Distracted Driver Warning turned off, and basically 100% success with it turned on. Maybe it's just me or coincidental?

    Traffic jam assist?

Also of note is you have to have the driver attention system enabled. If you have it disabled, traffic jam assist will not work. In my experience, as long as it's enabled and the camera detects that you're looking forward, traffic jam assist generally works well for me.
