Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

I tested the iX3 and it nailed the interior : exterior packaging. But damn these iX BMW's are simply too hard to look at and I never bought a car because it looked good or not bought a car because it was ugly. I've owned the original Honda Ridgeline and a Chevy Bolt.

Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

That being said I'm looking for a replacement for my Tesla since my wife will take it away from me. I ordered a Cayenne S that got delayed so many times I canceled my reservation. The Cayenne came in last week and when I drove it I was a bit underwhelmed for a car costing $144k. It has great...

Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

Their HW4 equipped used cars have nearly no depreciation. Why is...

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

My wife nixed a Lucid because of the cupholders and two of the Houston reps grumbled she wasn't the first. The cupholders are may not be a hazard but they are costing sales. I waited for '27 Air release because I don't want black seats or handicapped Tesla charging. Bought Tesla Model Y...

Is The 2027 Air Announcement Imminent?

I still can't believe Lucid only offers black plastic or leather front seats. That's simply a deal killer for a lot of people in areas like Houston where I reside. Especially perplexing considering the Saudi influence.

traded in my air... and got a polestar 3

Soon you will realize there's worse software reliability than Lucid. Never mind that your on board AC charger will blow every 4 months.

    Lucid Cosmos Specifications

I feel a good strategy would be one battery pack design with Base Option = LFP or NaI cells and Upgrade Option = NMC. Common packaging saves a ton of cost in engineering, tooling, inventory control and maximizes purchasing scale. The packaging represents about 25% of the pack cost.

Is Lucid Panasonic battery chemistry that much ahead?

Where did you source that data? The Lucid LG/Panasonic cells are nothing special. Their volumetric density is probably 20% lower than you state.
