Lucid Gravity update 3.3.5 + fob update

Steering wheel reboot usually addresses the parking cams issue… hold brake, and both lower left steering wheel buttons for long enoughto have status message on left that says release to reboot. Give it a few mins… should be fine

Gonna have the service center look at it when I take it in for a few other small items.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

These bugs are tiny in the scope of the whole project and some will hopefully be fixed in the next release or two… I had wondered yesterday why the currently playing tune was gone. Nice to know the correlation. Another bug is that whatever you were playing when you left the car gets replaced by...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

On our ongoing trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico ( we arrived tonite and had to replace the FOB battery to move the car from lobby parking to hotel parking. I had the FOB reset instructions with me( Open FOB, remove battery , hold unlock while inserting battery back into FOB) , a swiss army knife to...

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

I am aware of the switch and the adjustments… but at its lowest it is not low enough for my eyes. Switching it off doesn’t stop the convex mirror from reflecting the sun from certain angles. Try driving in middle the day in a circle… you will find the sun in your eyes every so often. The...

From Tesla to Lucid Gravity: Issues I’ve Found (Help Expand the List)

I believe that Apple implementation is simply coming first… not exclusively…

Key fob battery; spec and warning

I have several Tesla Fobs in my junk drawer already. PaaK and cards is plenty especially when they work reliably. Nanny controls on the car for speed and such let us loan the car to folks who don’t normally drive a car with 1k HP. Most folks who haven’t been reasonably trained should not drive...

Key fob battery; spec and warning

The card keys work well enough for valets parking my car in their garages… that is how Tesla has done it but also with a code secured valet mode that locks the areas of the car they have no business in and speed limits their driving. I hope Lucid gives us a codeable speed limit so we can lock...

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

My biggest problem with HUD is that it doesn’t go low enough for my eyes which are too high for this to work. Also at high noon or thereabouts… when sun is high… get occasional blinding reflections from the concave mirror of the hud… for my current trip gonna take the old floor mat to throw over...

    toll tags/rfid on the Gravity

My northern CA FasTrac was installed by my delivery specialist on left middle of windshield under visor hinge area. Seems to work great there... I never wrap or tint my own cars... Nicely hidden from view most of the time there but the occupant # selector is easily accessible to driver.

"Battery very low. Charge now." Lucid Android app notifications, but battery is at 69%

Easy to ignore as it is clearly a spurious silly warning... I have seen it a couple of times. Since I knew everything seemed great.. the 3.3.2 came out the day after I took delivery and ceased delivering a much larger set of spurious nonsensical warnings. Hopefully fixed in 3.3.3 or whatever is...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

My last ICE car was a flex and it compares well functionally to the Gravity... i understand why she likes the FLEX. I call it the Stretch Volvo XC90. That said... I think we are maybe 2 to 3 major OTA's from the Gravity getting feature complete and debugged. Could hopefully be a half dozen micro...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Yesterday I thought I was gonna steering wheel reboot the infotainment but I got distracted and did something else for a few seconds looked back and the frozen media selector had thawed and was fine then... so for me 600+ miles from delivery and no reboots, resets... better find some wood to...
