Ended up turning off those notifications as with the levels of interruption and focus pull… it is my belief that they are awful right now. Check your mirrors… get a warning… stare out windows… dont blink… very annoying… only thing more irritating was Tesla points and disabling FSD because of...
Well…at least here in CA our version, the FasTrak also has cameras that can usually read your plates… they bill your acct anyway if your plates are properly registered.
There really should be no issue with both on same network… that the app works better with cell service versus wifi is not rational… the app shouldn’t be directly talking to the network… there are intermediate layers. I have had chargers, cars and all the other devices in my home sharing a net...
Yesterday I fit 2 Litter Robot cartons from costco into the gaping maw that is the rear seats down gravity well… along with 2 cases of pop… amazing what it can move.
Mine certainly behaved more rationally when i noted it was a little less responsive and replaced it. Outright failures… reset, reboot. For minor degradation of response, fresh battery seems a better choice.
Check battery voltage or simply try a new FOB battery when the detection gets less alert. Mine seemed drowsy on day when original battery was weakened. I replaced it with fresh pile and voila… back to better behavior.
And if FOB reboot fails… try a new battery in fob… I carry a spare… and a battery checker meter (green or red no proper voltages ) If battery is near red at all time for new one… pegs green when good. Only replaced mine once so far… rebooted FOB about 6 times before sw fix arrived. Haven’t...
I have yet to get 3.3.8… but even on 3.3.5 mine seems very stable since updating FOB also… doesn’t always unlock and present handles on walkup… but when it doesn’t I simply press a fob button like unlock…and it wakes up fine… and with fob still in pocket it shifts into gear and works reliably.
One major difference is that Teslas can reboot and keep self driving while rebooting the infotainment… which is,,, you know,,, kinda nice. Love my new Lucid but it could improve the way it does this.
Should there be a neo luddite test for users?
Next he will say he likes motor noise, wants a fake shifter, wishes it smelled more of gasoline… you know… an anti ev person… they ask range you say it does 437 they claim to need 600… never enough. Such boring folks.
Just used my phone Lucid App to update my FOB…. Seemed to be working great afterwards. Looking forward to getting 3.3.8 update which so far hasn’t been offered.
Thankfully my wife, who has mobility issues, can get in on standard height. I turned off the lower setting in the vehicle settings and that higher setting lets car stay at standard height by default… less risk of curb hang ups… also could have a max height while inparking lots for speed bump...
