I’m in love.

Not necessarily against “minivan” only, but against irrational stereotypes in general. And perhaps a way to do that is to create your own narrative, e.g., the “vomit comet” videos. The marketing brief could be to make it cooler to roll up to your high school or college reunion in one of these...

Based on all of these reviews, the Gravity seems to be an incredible vehicle, and the Lucid team deserves every bit of praise for delivering it. My only hope is that its sophistication isn’t lost on its target audience. [Cammisa puts it more bluntly than that]. Outside of Gravity, a lot of us...

Lucid engineers aren’t half bad at math. :) Here’s my hypothesis: Lucid and other manufacturers all use some type of large language model (LLM) behind the scenes. Given that they’re not charging us owners for it, it’s probably not a “frontier” model like OpenAI’s o1. Assuming that it’s an older...

@Buffalo Bob, I have a 2023 Pure AWD (DD basic, SSP) and I have not received anything after 2.5.0. It seems from these forums that I get updates within 2-3 days of their release, and this has been consistent throughout my ownership of this vehicle (coming up on 9 months now). So I’m pretty...

Not too many pictures right after the car has had a good wash/wax, but today was an exception…

Yes absolutely! https://www.lucidmotors.com/configure?referralCode=PS001D43 Good luck with your purchase! What spec are you getting?

My first post in a while. Car remains awesome. Nothing else to report. Boring, I know.

I had this same issue starting in about July or so. The awesome Lucid Millbrae service team (Christopher Robinson in this particular instance -- they're all great) took care of it in September by giving me an updated steering wheel, apparently their latest revision. That completely fixed the issue.

Welcome! You’ve made a great choice. I have a Pure AWD (very similar to Touring), and for me it is the best car I’ve ever owned (previous vehicles include a BMW X5 and 328i). A few things stand out for me after ~7 months and ~7000 miles: - First, the car. Phenomenal ride and handling balance...

No they weren’t, but they did give me the new vehicle Lucid financing at a low APR (much lower than keeping it in a savings account). That combination of demo car price + new car financing sealed the deal for us.

I’ve been thinking the same. I’m pretty sure my Pure AWD is a software-detuned Touring.

I love my Zenith Red. The first comment that most people make is that they love the color. Sometimes it’s a deep red, sometimes it’s almost black. The taillights especially blend in quite nicely with the body to give it a sort of stealth look, especially with the aluminum roof.

Stepping in to defend the 20s. :) Wheels: - 6k miles driven in mostly brutal urban SF. Not a scratch on the covers or anything coming loose. I think they look great. Tires: - Have had AGT loaners with 21s three times now. I much prefer the ride on the 20s. Feels frictionless, like a maglev...

This is a classic LLM response.

I have a decent amount of experience with AI assistants in my line of work. OP’s interaction can best be summed up as a combination of two factors: 1. Extreme sensitivity on the car’s part to the “wake word”, ie “Hey Lucid” — not helped by the fact that there are a lot more things that sound...

Hello and welcome! I have a 2023 Air Pure AWD also with 20” wheels, and I too came off of BMWs (X5 and 3 series). I’ve been extremely satisfied with my purchase. Easily the best car I’ve ever had (although the 3 series came close in driving dynamics; the Lucid has it beat in everything else). No...

💯. I’ve worked more hours in my Pure AWD than I can count. With a good 5G connection, the comfy seats, the legroom (I prefer the passenger seat), and the excellent acoustics especially with the Alcantara headliner, this is an excellent place from which to either have meetings or get some “deep...

Fair point. It should indeed first go to anyone who has a 2.4.x build with issues. I didn’t have any.

I actually think that it’ll go to those who don’t have a 2.4.x build already. That’s what happened the last time around. I have 2.4.2 and am willing to bet that I won’t get 2.4.4.
