    Locked out of Lucid Gravity

I seem to recall some mention of a dead spot in the Air where the car would not detect the fob. It was either in the cupholders or in the center console. I’m not sure if it’s the same with the gravity… So it may really matter where you leave the fob inside the car!

    Q2 Earnings Call

The remarkably slack demand for the Gravity has definitely thrown a wrench into the long-term trajectory. We all know the several reasons why demand has been much lower than hoped as Lucid entered this much larger market. But it remains that the projected ramp up of both manufacturing and...

Update on Our Next OTA Release (post-3.6.0)

This is addressed not too far above in this same thread. Sounds like maybe early fall?

Is The 2027 Air Announcement Imminent?

I’m pretty sure the most recent sales figures showed Air sales dropping off a cliff. The Gravity is selling quite a bit more at this point I believe. Just checked: according to Cox automotive, Q2 sales for the Air was 920 units, alongside 1811 Gravities. (Air sold 2630 Q2 2025) No idea how...

HVAC - no cooling when car is not moving

Tangent: I’ve never figured out how to reference another owner with the simple “@handle” text…???? Above I copy/pasted their handle from the post side-panel, but that’s not it!!

HVAC - no cooling when car is not moving

https://lucidowners.com/members/illopp00.8481/ The intake louvres are opening and closing as expected when I turn on the HVAC (I followed a recent tip on another thread to confirm, toggling MaxAC). https://lucidowners.com/members/coyote.16548/ I’m not sure how to differentiate “outside...

HVAC - no cooling when car is not moving

I have an appointment in Natick a week from today for them to look at this. But I thought it was worth bouncing it out to the forum in case there’s some easy fix that I’m overlooking. My car is a 2025 air touring, with the heat pump. This summer, I noticed that the car was not pre-cooling, nor...

    New CTO

Related, from “eletric”: (We all want to hear from Billy!) Billy Hayes, a veteran of Nissan and Stellantis, became chief customer officer with profit-and-loss responsibility across the US, the Middle East and Europe, and Hugo Martinho, another Schindler alumnus, joined as chief transformation...

Chicago-Phoenix Road Trip #3 (this time without EA chargers!)

PlugShare now has a “Lodging” filter….and yes, while some of these are at lots near hotels, simple clicking around on the PlugShare map easily ID’s the hotels with chargers in their lots (the hotel name is the site location, rather than the charger network being named) FWIW, a quick gander...

Years of Persistent Software Failures - Lucid Air Software Team’s Incompetence is Unacceptable

Yes, sometimes similar here in Maine. BUT, the functional impact of the “reduced regen” is almost always nearly imperceptible to me, suggesting it’s a pretty subtle reduction. (Maybe at times needing to hit friction brakes briefly at end of coming to a full stop, but never to vary speed while...

    Air software version 2.10.0

Yes, me too. My guess is if someone had entered socktucker’s car, it would not have driven away without the pin being entered. (I really like leaving the car unlocked at home, being able to grab things from it and even to move it a bit without running to get my phone!) I can see why it would...

Windows open warning when remotely heating car

Is this on the gravity or the UX 3.0 only? I don’t see a bell icon on my air touring. Is there someplace on the current air UX that shows this? Or perhaps the bell only shows up when there’s an outstanding and still active warning? So many of them seem to come and go with a reset or sleep…

Trading my lucid air in for a gravity

Maybe they were slightly more desperate back then, but in December 2024 when they offered me an air touring that had all the same options that I had ordered on my pure, except it came with the performance tires, they were willing to trade the tires out for me after it arrived in Natick, but...

SUPPORTING MEMBER... yea you.... listen up!

I popped for the fee, really appreciate the Forum. I’m curious, though, what the annual expenses are. Hosting, site design/troubleshooting likely…. Moderators are volunteers. Any staff or hourly contract labor, or mostly the online infrastructure?

Natick service: riding the wave with grace

After 18 months, I finally have a service issue that needs to be addressed. Like most other service centers, Natick was very backed up for appointments, six weeks out. Unlike some other centers, I received a call from them a week after scheduling (I was planning to call that day if I hadn’t...

3K Miles in 3 months High Efficiency

Fantastic! 90% as efficient as an Air Touring (both driven somewhat modestly), yet so much more flexible space and comfort…. If they keep dialing up the efficiency quotient like this, there may yet be light at the end of the tunnel!
