Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

I think you made a wrong turn. The Tesla forum is down the street on the left.

Version 3.3.1 was installed on my vehicle today during delivery prep. I noticed they had to install it twice so there may have been a glitch first time through. Also, appears service is working at least a 6 day workweek to get the EOQ deliveries out.

    Gravity PPF Installation

I was quoted $900 by my guy. That's two step with Gtechniq CSL base coat and EXOv5 on top.

It may depend on where you live and shipping time. My SA called about noon to tell me the car had arrived in Scottsdale but the dashboard didn't update to preparing for delivery until about 4PM. They may update the dashboard once a day when the vehicle leaves Casa Grande. In the case of Phoenix...

Interesting, your SA says 3~4 days for inspection and prep while mine says 1-3 weeks. I hope yours is right.

I ordered a vehicle from the allocated list. I think that cut a lot of time off the process.

Just got a txt from my SA that my Gravity has shipped and begun inspections. She now gives me a 1-3 week window.

My understanding based on what my SA told me is that the $80K limit applies only to individuals not corporations. With a lease the vehicle is purchased by the leasing company who then passes the credit through to the consumer. Once the credit expires at the end of the month then it will be a...

Can anyone compare DDPremium vs. Tesla Autopilot (not FSD)?

I don't think so but it's possible. Initially, it didn't work at all until I lowered the steering wheel all the way down. Once I did that it activates correctly but is just extremely strict on the amount of time it allows me to do anything other than stare straight ahead.

Can anyone compare DDPremium vs. Tesla Autopilot (not FSD)?

I personally don't like the handsfree as well as I do regular Drive Assist. Having said that the Hands Free Drive Assist has been working really well. The problem is it requires me to keep my head almost perfectly still and even anything more than minimal cockpit scanning puts it into a series...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I've been in the same boat for a week. My SA says there is a bottleneck with getting cars shipped from the factory to the service center. One thing to keep in mind is end of month. If the car gets delivered by Sept 30th then the government foots the $7500 EV credit. If they miss that date and in...

    New to Lucid

I agree with this post having come from the Tesla world as well but with a couple of minor caveats. Tesla does have some more advanced software features such as "Navigate on AutoPilot" but I found I never used them either because I couldn't trust them or because they didn't function the way I...

QUESTION Which sound system should I order?

There is an old adage that says: "Don't buy a $5000 stereo when you have $500 ears". That's a long way of saying you kinda have to hear it yourself to decide. For an audiophile, I'm sure the enhanced system is worth every penny. However, for someone like me pushing 70 with marginal hearing I...

Gravity: Helpful Tips for Automated Car Wash?

My wife and I seldom agree on anything but the instant we saw a Platinum Gravity in the wild it was a no go. Stealth became one of the few non negotiables when I placed my order.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Just got a phone call from my SA to advise my Gravity has completed production. That was 12 days start to finish so pretty quick. Advised delivery certainly by the end of month and any bottlenecks are in getting the vehicles shipped to Scottsdale. She said they have several truckloads waiting to...
