    DDPro inconsistent. Dangerous?

I have driven hands-on lane centering systems for many years from different manufacturers and with those systems you were aware of their limitations and by keeping hand on, were ready to correct when needed. With hands off systems, there can be a significant lag in time between noticing system...

    DDPro inconsistent. Dangerous?

This morning while driving on this same section of I-10, I made a point of closely paying attention to what the car did and displayed on dash when it got to this spot where it usually tries to kill me. Even though the lines are somewhat faint and morning sun glare might cause issues with...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

As a person closing in on my 70’s, I definitely plan to “hopefully” have a Level 4 capable car within the next 8-10 years. I remember my mother as she got into her 80’s and stopped driving at night and then only drove to places within her 5 mile comfort bubble. I also remember my and my son’s...

[Suggestions] Software features from other brands that make sense

Lucid needs to focus on stabilizing current software and delivering promised (and paid for) features such as AR HUD, PAAK, usable cameras at night, curb rash detection, etc., before they go off on adding new features. Only must have new feature for me is adding Apple Music app.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

Lucid charges almost $7000 for DDP2 which is not too far from what Tesla has charged for lifetime FSD. Most other manufacturers charge only around $2500 for their lane keeping ADAS, so I would be very pissed if Lucid wanted to add on a subscription to what I have already paid for DDP2. Now it...

    My Service Experience with Lucid

To me, service issues and customer service (or lack there of) are the biggest issues with Lucid right now. This problem started at the beginning of the year when Lucid fired a bunch of service related employees (hopefully the person(s) who made that decision has now also been fired). In the...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

I agree that a majority of the people on the YouTube with “will never buy a car without FSD” or “xxx car’s self drive is nowhere near as good as FSD” comments, are just Tesla fan boys posting to trash talk and not fully representative of a majority of Tesla drivers. I saw a stat sometime ago...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

Getting these long term loaner cars into major YouTube influencers hands is a very good move. Fortunately the Gravity has now matured in both hardware and software over what it was back last summer when initial reviews were done. For me the early Gravity videos from OOS Kyle Conner had a lot...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

My daughter had a bachelorette weekend a couple months ago and one night they took an Uber Model X. Even her friend who is all of 4’ 11” complained about how horribly cramped the third row was.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

Kim just uploaded update on this video and she did get a long term Gravity loaner (like OOS) to drive. She complains about primitive DDP without handfree or slow down for turns. Lucid really needs to do a better job of briefing people getting these press cars before sending them off.

    DDPro inconsistent. Dangerous?

My GGT did this again this morning in the same spot and also tried to drive me into pickup coming up on left side. My concern here is not that the system will sometimes have a hard time reading the lines but it should never prioritize following hard to read lines over driving me into another...

    Gravity HUD question

Yes you can get the HUD and yes it works about as good as a plain Jane $600 HUD. Not worth anywhere near what Lucid is charging (even with the added extra interior ambient lighting). Lucid has been totally mum on when or if this HUD will ever get the AR functionality that was promised.

    DDPro inconsistent. Dangerous?

I had a definite dangerous DDP handsfree fail this morning. Driving east into morning sun on freeway on section with stripes that are starting to fade. I drive this section regularly 3-4 times a week and in morning sun, DDP will have car start hunting left to right trying to read stripes. It...

Lucid Gravity in Service for 9+ Weeks — Can I Request Lease Payment Reimbursement?

To me it is not just did you get a loaner but was the loaner comparable to your leased car. In my case, I got a Lucid Air Pure (zero options) as a loaner and was not happy. Next time I got a Gravity that was not as fully loaded as my car, but it was at least somewhat similar and useful.

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

Ultimately this was a smart move for Lucid at this point in time. To develop a proper Sapphire or Gravity X would have used extensive resources for very little potential extra sales of either model. This is all about getting some free advertising and press attention. Already seeing some...

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

Big yawn. Take a Dream Edition and strip down some features but add in some blue paint. Replace the Dream badge with a GT-S one. The good news is that Lucid appears to have not waisted any engineering time (that needs to stay focused on Cosmos development and Gravity/Air refinement). With...

    Sneak peek at Gravity 3.6.4

Wonder how long it will take the rest of us non YouTube influencers to get this update?

Unveil of cosmos or sapphire gravity?

The Gravity will never be faster than an Air Sapphire due to weight and aero. Even a Rimac with 2000hp is not any faster than a Sapphire due to traction limits. With the current electric cars, we are basically at the limits of street legal acceleration. Current street legal tires can only put...

OOS (Out of Spec) initial review of their long term Gravity GT

To give Kyle the true Lucid owners experience, he should be required to get the steering rack issue resolved the same way as the rest of us would. Pull up the app and realized there are no appointments available for next 3 months. Try to call local service center and get no answer or returned...

OOS (Out of Spec) initial review of their long term Gravity GT

Kyle mentioned soon to be released software update but if he is on 3.6.3, interesting to know what this new one is about other than further fine tuning of Hands Free Drive Assist?
