I’ll predict right here that he will get waaay more questions about service (or the lack there of) vs ordering and delivery.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

It is my understanding that NHTSA made matrix adaptive headlights legal in 2022 but with a different standard than European standard. This caused manufacturers to have to modify their software and in some cases some hardware to meet the slightly different US standard. Thus the delay.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

I feel I noticed similar regen action. I use standard regen and play a little game where I try to release accelerator pedal and coast up to stop light/stop sign using only regen. In my limited driving since 3.6 it seams that I am having to tap brake at last minute more due to less regen. Not...

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

This has been discussed elsewhere in these forums but answer is most likely NO. HERE is better optimized for ADAS systems and thus most auto companies use it vs google for their ADAS systems. Adding google places to the Lucid native app is a good step toward dealing with some of HEREs...

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

That is not coming until end of the year or more likely sometime early next year.

    Is service overwhelmed?

Last week I called customer service in HQ and even they could not get anyone to answer at Houston SC.

    Is service overwhelmed?

Yes, Houston SC is a total train wreck. Based on comment on this form, possibly the worst in country. I am not saying that they do bad work, just that they are the most understaffed and backed up.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Not so. Mercedes can tell difference between main lane speed limit and exit ramp speed limit and even displays both on dash. Mercedes will maintain main lane speed limit and ignore exit ramps. Lucid seems to have just been taught how to read a speed limit sign and not the difference. Even...

Anemic A/C - is this the norm?

Yes but in my past cars I have rarely needed it, even here in Houston, as most proper systems ramp up on their own if needed.

Anemic A/C - is this the norm?

Yeah, something is definitely wrong with my AC. Just checked with AC at MAX, ambient temp is 85. With IR Thermometer, driver side vents are 62 and passenger side temps are 73. Just realized that this may be due to no one being in passenger seat when checking. But with AC at MAX it is just...

In preperation for Gravity getting Hands Free Highway DDP

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to this update.

I’d say layoffs to the service department are starting to have an effect…

Their new solution is to just make it impossible to get a service appointment at all. I may consider contacting a lawyer and pursuing a lawsuit (or even class action suit since it appears there are likely hundreds of Lucid owners that are finding roadblocks to getting warranty service.) When I...

Anemic A/C - is this the norm?

Most cars I have driven, if you get into it with internal temp 95+ and your set temp is 70, auto system will engage Max A/C automatically until internal temps are down into the 70s. My Gravity just bumps the fan speed up a couple notches. Maybe after everyone complaining about the Arctic Blast...

    Service Center Not Responsive

This is an example of how being reliant on mobile service (assuming repairs are within their capabilities) can be an advantage vs depending on a Service Center. If you make an appointment at SC (assuming you can get one) and then bring car in, there is a good chance that it will sit in a back...

In preperation for Gravity getting Hands Free Highway DDP

I also know that one of the key advantages of the Gravity (vs Air) with regard to eye tracking is that Lucid moved the camera to the top of steering column and not in dash screen, so much less likely to block view of drivers eyes.

In preperation for Gravity getting Hands Free Highway DDP

Although I have a Gravity, this question is probably more for existing Air owners as those with DDP will have been using Hands Free Highway for quite awhile now and I would assume that the implementation of this in Gravity will be very similar. I have heard mostly good comments about the Hand...

Lucid Gravity Grand Touring - upcoming test drive - what to look for?

3.5.7 does nothing noticable with regard to features, etc., it is just a prep for the upcoming 3.6. Also, being that you are in Europe, which has different ADAS regulations, one of the main features of 3.6, Hands Free highway ADAS, may not be opened for Euro cars at this time.

Anemic A/C - is this the norm?

In Houston here also and find that the AC is somewhat underwhelming. If car has been left outside on hot (above 90) day, the system when set to AUTO and 70 degrees, the temp of air coming out of vents is cool but not cold. The blower also only goes to about level 6 or 7 when trying to cool off...

    Gravity V3.5.7

I believe 3.5.7 is coming to ALL Gravity as it is a key software structural change that preps car to be able to receive the large 3.6 update. There have been no reports of cars bricking or other issues, so I would not assume a pause in release but rather a slow, purposeful, release, over a...
