    4 Airs and 3 Gravitys

In Houston area I have only seen 4 customer Gravity’s in the past year. I have however seen a number of NVIDIA/Nuro Lucid Robotaxies doing testing around Houston.

    Apple Key coming to Lucid

First off, I believe that Lucid originally had rear AC triggered by weight on rear seats but had some complaints about small infants not triggering the AC when put in rear car seats. Lucid then switched to seat belt trigger for rear AC. As for PAAK, yes I am eagerly awaiting it but am...

    Automatic Headlights

If you have Dream Drive Pro, it also comes with Adaptive Drive Beam (just added in recent OTA), which will instead of always dimming lights due to oncoming traffic or following cars, it will adapt the light beam pattern (due to it including 1000s of pixels instead of one big bulb) to avoid...

Alex On Autos Reviews the Lucid Gravity Touring

As you can see from my signature info, my other car is a Mercedes E450 convertible and prior to the Gravity, I also had an AMG GLE 63. Both of these are ICE so no EV comparison. Software on the Mercedes is more stable but less functional compared to Gravity. Audio is a wash (in my opinion.)...

    [email protected] NOT RESPONDING

Yes, Houston is a train wreck. But it is not only the Houston (and some other SCs in central US) that have SC issues. There is also, as the OP stated, Customer Service as a whole.

Alex On Autos Reviews the Lucid Gravity Touring

The hardware and even software (based on recent upgrades) makes the Gravity probably the best luxury large EV out (unless you need serious off-roading skills/durability). Where Lucid is loosing out to other luxury brands like Mercedes, Cadillac, BMW etc. is with customer service and service...

    [email protected] NOT RESPONDING

Customer Care and Lucid in the same email is an Oxymoron.

Lucid Engineer on Robotaxi Programme Leaves for Nvidia Ahead of Launch

To be fair, NVIDIA is a key partner in the Robotaxi, so good chance that this engineer will still be working on Robotaxi, but with different boss. Trying to read this move as a sign that the Lucid Robotaxi is dead is asinine.

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

To be fair, I see a lot of people doing those crazy things while not paying attention in regular “no ADAS” cars all of the time. At least with FSD someone/something is paying attention. I think one of the biggest challenges for FSD (or similar systems) is avoiding those crazy drivers without...

    Let rate our service center

Houston gets a 2 from me and I have the receipts if anyone wants to challenge that rating.

    North up on Gravity Map

You must have accidentally gotten the beta update for the new Australian model.

McLean VA awful service and I am done with Lucid

Just love how whenever there is a first post from someone complaining about something, certain people try to accuse “Fake post” or “Troll”. If you notice the OP joined the forum over a year ago and has probably just been a lurker, reading posts to learn about Lucid until now when he had his...

Help me Understand Gravity Halo Secure

Live View is currently “Beta” and is a works for some, not for others at different times. Mine is hit or miss but appears to be getting better with recent updates. I believe it will be available for GT and Touring. I also think that once it is fully sorted out that it might become a...

Dallas service center opening up in September/October 2026

To be fair, I had similar worries/predictions about Gravity Key FOB back in spring 2025 and you assured me that all would be wonderful with the Gravity FOB due to new tech involved. I seriously hope that I am wrong on this prediction as I do really want Lucid to succeed and do love driving my...

Dallas service center opening up in September/October 2026

Did not realize that the Dallas SC would be 3 times size of Houston SC (which to be fair is very undersized). Hopefully Lucid will shift out of state, Austin and North Central Texas repairs to this SC and free up Houston SC to focus on Houston and South Texas repairs. I also know that...

Dallas service center opening up in September/October 2026

I doubt opening of the Dallas SC will totally solve the Texas repair backlog. Yes, it will improve things, but probably more like reducing 3 month backlog down to 1 month.

    DDPro inconsistent. Dangerous?

I have driven hands-on lane centering systems for many years from different manufacturers and with those systems you were aware of their limitations and by keeping hand on, were ready to correct when needed. With hands off systems, there can be a significant lag in time between noticing system...

    DDPro inconsistent. Dangerous?

This morning while driving on this same section of I-10, I made a point of closely paying attention to what the car did and displayed on dash when it got to this spot where it usually tries to kill me. Even though the lines are somewhat faint and morning sun glare might cause issues with...

    Kim Java - Preview Gravity?

As a person closing in on my 70’s, I definitely plan to “hopefully” have a Level 4 capable car within the next 8-10 years. I remember my mother as she got into her 80’s and stopped driving at night and then only drove to places within her 5 mile comfort bubble. I also remember my and my son’s...

[Suggestions] Software features from other brands that make sense

Lucid needs to focus on stabilizing current software and delivering promised (and paid for) features such as AR HUD, PAAK, usable cameras at night, curb rash detection, etc., before they go off on adding new features. Only must have new feature for me is adding Apple Music app.
