I was hoping that would fix my issue but it didn't. Maybe the soft reset will take care of things.

Thanks for your suggestion but both times I had issues I was around 3 hours away from my home. I'm not going to do a reset that far from home when the fix was to lock and unlock my car. Again when it happened I didn't know about the soft reset. Hopefully it doesn't happen again (fingers crossed).
