    3.0 on Air

AND more Highway Assist/Pilot functionality. The original DDP promises do not go away due to a less definitive box in a later presentation.

    3.0 on Air

I'm all for waiting on Air 3.x for further progress on features, but as far as promises go, you are not correct regarding DDP, and a lesser, but not original, promise of sentry mode. I think you have posted something to the effect of your first sentence before, and then been sent copies of...

    Cccv2 upgrade

I'm pretty sure that sound accounting practices would have Lucid booking the cost of referral point redemptions as they are incurred, so spending them would just be a balance sheet entry against already accrued expenses. Your 'overworked service' argument does hold water, although I'm not sure...

    Cccv2 upgrade

I think we can count on both the part and labor being offered in the Referral Store. Lucid management figured out a way to do it on the $$$ store, and the operational processes and accounting logic should be the same for the Referral Store, albeit with a little jiggering for the points conversions.

    2.8.17

I just got my recall notice yesterday. It says the target vehicles are certain 2022-2026 Air models equipped with DreamDrive Pro (AD02) and operating on OTA update 2.8.0 through 2.8.16. The fix is to update to 2.8.17. Hope this helps.

    Cccv2 upgrade

Sorry @borski, but we can't always be giving Lucid a 'by' on everything just because there's a little complication involved, and I don't agree that there even is in this case. The labor component that works in the $$$ Store should be treated the same in the Referral Store, and the treatment of...

    Cccv2 upgrade

...but I don't think implementing it in the Referral Store is a bit different accounting-wise than implementing it in the $$$ Store, and it seems to work there for both hardware and labor. The folks at the IRS would not like it of the accounting in place for the $$$ Store was different from the...

    Cccv2 upgrade

It's frustrating how often Lucid fails at the little things. On 2/3/26, Nick Twork announced that the CCCv2 upgrade, already on the $$$ Store, would be available to order on the Referral Store. A little over a month later, the upgrade is still not available. I completely understand that...

2026 Lucid Air Touring - 3 month review

Having used hi-speed charging almost exclusively in my first 28 months and 21k miles, I have discovered one very reliable data point. Assuming a reasonable outside temperate and no station-driven power limitations... whatever my initial SOC may be, it will take my Air just under 35 minutes to...

    HFDA reports

I'm quite happy with HFDA other than all the 'Pay Attention' prompts. Two things about those prompts that I wonder if I'm correct about, or if it's just my imagination... I drive a city freeway which is straight most of the time, but occasionally has some pretty dramatic curves. The locals...

    Rivian's losses compared to Lucid's

What's interesting to me is that Rivian is currently trading at an $18.8B Market Cap, and a 4.11 Price to Book Value ratio, while Lucid is currently trading at an $3.2B Market Cap, and 1.8 Price to Book Value ratio. How does it make sense that Rivian's Market Cap is almost 6x Lucid's Market...

Any Thoughts on Insuring A Lucid With Mileage-Based Insurance?

FYI... I spoke with mileauto.com, and I was rejected because they do not insure Lucids.

    19 inch new tires

I'm surprised that nobody else has asked... Are you saying that you got 52,000 miles on your original tires? If so, wow! Also, if so, what has your practice been on tire pressure and alignments? Last, if so, I can't imagine that you come anywhere close to living up to your forum 'handle'...

Any Thoughts on Insuring A Lucid With Mileage-Based Insurance?

If so, please br sure to include the company name. I tried mileauto.com and got summarily rejected, but no explanation was given. I suppose it is either age (77) or brand related, as we both have very strong driving histories and credit ratings. Thanks!

CCCv2 upgrade for Lucid Air using points discussion

Works now... at least on lucid motors.com. No CCCv2.

CCCv2 upgrade for Lucid Air using points discussion

I can't get into the referral rewards store this morning. Neither through the app or lucidmotors.com. Possible update in progress, but on a Saturday? I did get into the $$$ store, which I have not visited in a long time, and noted that the CCCv2 can be ordered there for $950. Has that been...

    A Spare Tire Question...

As the OP, my net takeaway is... Even if nobody else reports the EV Sportline ratchet failure problem that I observed, I am going to replace the ratchet that came with my EV Sportline kit with a more robust one. I figure the added peace of mind is well worth around $20. Further, if you are...

    A Spare Tire Question...

Ah. Thanks for clarifying. Do you recall the weight rating of both your old EZ Spare jack and the replacement you bought? At a rating of 88.4% of my car's curb weight, I figured my EV Sportline's two tonne jack was adequate, although one with a three tonne rating would certainly be better.
