    Air Version 2.9.0

I'm not impatient! I'm chronically uninformed or misinformed! I feel like a mushroom because I'm always in the dark. Not to mention my source of nutrients.

    Air Version 2.9.0

Just another day dealing with Lucid. Is this correct? Who knows? Who cares? As usual, I feel like a mushroom.

    Phoenix Area

Hi, @Macrocosmcwh, and welcome! Just so you know, these 'area' based group sites seem to have never gotten any traction, but we at least used to have some smaller group activities. A great guy whose handle is @Adnillien is/was often involved in setting them up and/or communicating about them. I...

    Any word on Air updates?

That has been debated ad nauseum in other DDP threads that you can search for. Little about the promises made is exact in a contractual sense, and terminology used like L2 and L3 has been a moving target, as well. There are those on the forum who will only be satisfied with true autonomy...

    Air Version 2.9.0

I think you are saying that you can't stop an update from being downloaded to your vehicle, but that you can choose not to install it. At least that is my understanding. So, my question is, if it's downloaded to the vehicle but not installed, will it show up on this list?

    Air Version 2.9.0

Just wondering @borski... If an OTA update was downloaded to the vehicle but never installed, will it show up on this list? If yes, will there be anything indicating that it is available but not installed? (I've never passed on an OTA update, but it seems that others have.)

    Air Version 2.9.0

If you are referencing what you see on on the dashboard when you log in to the Lucid owner's website, I'm pretty sure that you are just seeing your own update history. So, for example, if you had elected not to install 2.8.30, you would be seeing 2.8.17 at the top.

$100K Lucid Air – 3 Years Later, Still Waiting on Promises

I'm in no position to weigh in on the nuances of various EPS testing protocols, nor which ones Lucid used when my 2023 Pure AWD was tested. I'm just saying that my personal experience leads me to believe that my car's efficiency was not misrepresented.

$100K Lucid Air – 3 Years Later, Still Waiting on Promises

I don't think you can fault Lucid for using EPA figures as their frame of reference. Besides them making that metric clear, what else could they possibly use when so much of EV efficiency is based on driving style and conditions? My 'relaxed' driving style and temperate conditions get my Pure...

    Any word on Air updates?

I'm gonna wait until it hits the Referral Store, at which point it may be CCCv∞, which will be needed to run Air UX ∞.∞, which in turn will be needed to install (coming soon) V2H, 'bonus' Sentry Mode, and (dare I say?) DDP as it was promoted when I bought the car. They won't have to ship the...

    Check Out This Photo...

On invezz.com, whatever the heck that is. Looks like somebody found an 'interesting' way to deal with a short charging cable... except it doesn't look that short. It also looks like they opened the charging port with a can opener. Gotta love AI.... At least until it doesn't need us anymore.

    Air Version 2.9.0

So many here seem to think that its the customer who should hang their head in shame, and not the manufacturer. I can only assume that it's an investor mentality. If so, and as one who fits in both categories, I would suggest that those who identify more in the latter should not be so judgemental.

    Air Version 2.9.0

Brace yourself @HC_79! You will soon be admonished for being so stupid as to actually pay for something based on features promised to you for fulfillment at some future date... Or worse yet, paying even more for something extra that was promised to you for fulfillment at some future date. What...

    Air Version 2.9.0

I was just trying to frame my reasoning for why something seems amiss to me, and I even speculated that it was likely a rollout glitch. An NDA violation by a beta tester is another possibility, but I highly doubt it. Whatever % of the total installed base it is, this forum has enough active...

I'm curious to know... Is there anyway to see how many verified owners are on the forum?

Tesla Charger Cord is too short to plug in

I guess the only saving grace is that I don't recall ever seeing a fully-utilized Tesla charging area, so I doubt there would be anyone all that upset about someone taking up two spaces. However, if the site were pretty well utilized, I would sure as hell stay right by the car while I charged...

    Air Version 2.9.0

Aren't we getting stuck in the weeds a bit here? I get what you're saying, so let's just call the forum's Air installed base a small but representative sample of the total Air installed base. Would you concede that there are 100 Air owners/lessors on the forum? If so, I would still think it...

    Air Version 2.9.0

I agree, but a release to only one person? If so, that person, and hopefully many others, should be Lucid employees and beta testers. I have to believe that it was a roll-out glitch that got JohnB 2.9.0 all by his lonesome, but that in Lucid's inimitable fashion, they choose to stay mum about...

    Any word on Air updates?

Yeah. And he also confirmed that the upgrade would be available to order on the Referral Store approaching three months ago. I guess that was one way to reduce Service Center workloads as many of us with points chose to be Waiting for Godot.

    Stock price of Lucid

Here's an interesting post-earnings release from former Lucid CFO Sherry House. A good example of how to accentuate the positive and build investor confidence. This, and the relative way that Rivian tells its own story, are examples that Lucid's Investor Relations and Executive staffs might...
