Bye Lucid Air and Another Dear Lucid... Letter

The number of believable "vehicle died the week after delivery" stories I've seen here and on Facebook got me wondering -- how bad is Gravity QA right now? Unsurprisingly, this all seems to be very secret information. The only data I can find is some CARFAX press releases from 2021...

Bye Lucid Air and Another Dear Lucid... Letter

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. My sense from the forum (and personal experience) is that service is 100% based on the local team's capacity and skills, and if you're not in a good market you have a seriously bad situation. Lucid is going to have to fix that before rolling out a...

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

This happened to me as well. Just call support and they can either fix your email address, or perform a factory reset if needed.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I would have ordered the Ojai, but the DE was only available with Tahoe (and we wanted leather). It's great in-person. It's way less orange than the classic Mercedes leather.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Same -- I've actually missed exits because I'm still so used to my 2019 Model X (which I still use when the Gravity is being driven my someone else in the house). I'm looking forward to 2020-level "Navigate on Autopilot" functionality. I don't need (or trust) the city streets capabilities on...

    16,000+ miles later

I could have written close to the same thing -- I sorta did offer a short 1 year retro on my "1000 miles" post. :) I keep seeing a handful of serious customer service fails, but other than that it seems like Lucid has finally hit their stride with the Gravity. Looks like we're finally out of...

    1000 miles of Gravity

1 year (13,099 miles) of Gravity I was thinking of writing a 1 year update, but I don't think I really have enough in the way of new thoughts to share! (I'm also about two weeks late -- I took delivery on June 30th.) I'll just add a few more comments to this thread. The Gravity continues to...

Is the 2027 MY Gravity being delivered yet?

There are no 2027s of either vehicle on the tracker currently.

Is the 2027 MY Gravity being delivered yet?

More to the point, model year is part of the VIN, so the tracker apps will definitely show once MY 2027 vehicles are registered.

Is the 2027 MY Gravity being delivered yet?

There certainly are 2025 Gravity, but I don't think any of them are officially customer vehicles. (I believe @borski had his -- sorry, @TribbleTrouble s -- swapped for a production DE.) The last-few-days of June 2025 deliveries, including mine, are all MY 2026.

Syncing updated driver icon to car?

This is trivial in the grand scheme of things, but.. I was forced to do a factory reset in order to get the account validation login to work. As part of setting the car up again, you select one of the Lucid driver icons and it says you can update this in the app later. I updated my profile...

The State of Charging on a Gravity Road Trip

I have had speed limited at Ionna when someone else plugs in, even if it's a poky Rivian charging at 50kW. I really, really hate how nearly all of the non-Tesla charging hardware does 50/50 fixed partitioning between stalls. I've only once gotten 350kW from EA, because usually someone else is...

Gravity HUD Position and Clarity Questions

The part has a "-02" suffix so it's not the original rev, but it's not on the 6th(?) like the center console. We need more data to know what was originally shipping.

Gravity HUD Position and Clarity Questions

Yeah, here's the PR: https://www.basemark.com/news/basemark-and-lucid-motors-partner-to-bring-augmented-reality-head-up-display-to-lucid-gravity/ The challenge here is that Basemark provides the software for development and data presentation -- what should be displayed, where, and when. It...

Gravity HUD Position and Clarity Questions

Huh; thanks for the report. I'm surprised they replaced the HUD, given the limited functionality today. Nice of them to try... My HUD is clearly Not Right -- the yellow triangle indicator of right-side traffic is only half visible regardless of adjustments or movement. The info display...

Hope the driver is ok - Lucid Gravity crashed into a toll booth in NH

Since this thread is active again -- I have the completely random trivia that this was the main Natick, MA SC loaner, which is why we got a brand new one with a white interior on our most recent service drop-off. Also, I might as well give Natick a shout-out for being very responsive for...

    Is your noselamp trim flush?

I've actually been pretty happy with Natick service overall. I realize a lot of the cosmetic stuff is outside of their control, like the atrocious bubbles in the corners of the window gaskets. I sent them a note asking if this was "within spec".

    Is your noselamp trim flush?

My DE was delivered with the first revision of the noselamp, which did not have retaining clips. It bothered me that when you run you hand over the edge there was a significant bump with something that should be flush. I mentioned this to service, and when my Gravity was in for a steering...

Gravity Dream Edition....what comes with the car?

Note that a lot of the DEs came with the HomeLink hardware installed but not provisioned, which required a service visit. The DEs are fully-optioned.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

I called Customer Care. They checked a few things (apparently this can be an issue if you've ever changed the email address associated with your account) and then said a factory reset was necessary. A little annoying, but this did resolve the issue.... now we just have to set up all our...
