The most recent BMW update added AI to navigation so it remembers frequent destinations and suggests them. Each update is fairly incremental. That said, the standard software suite is much more complete than on the Lucid.

This Wi-Fi thing is a good idea because it will reduce the amount of data that Lucid has to pay for on the internal cellular chips in our vehicles. Other car makers have used similar solutions; BMW downloads the update to the app and then it will transfer to the car when driving. Once that...
Yes, that is definitely how it works currently. What people are hoping for is to be able to use the upper and lower screens simultaneously for two completely different functions, like navigation on one and audio on the other.
A problem? No. However, it seems that some of the newer features will require a hardware upgrade to take advantage of them. Certainly your car will continue to work the same way it is doing so now without that.
It looks like this is a bug. We have seen this in some folks but the car is properly connected. Logging out and logging back in doesn't seem to solve it. It is inconsistent, though because others are not experiencing that problem.
Two different sources. The updated app comes from Apple/Google. The updated software comes from Lucid. You don't need one to have the other, but it seems that some features of the latest app update won't be available until you update your car. We haven't seen anybody get the 2.9.0 as per Lucid...
