    2028 Jaguar Type 01 EV Revealed With 1,015 HP, 400-Mile Range $130k

Zero connection to Jaguar history or heritage - unless all the electronics fail, which would be pretty on-brand.

    Chrome deleted my Air.

Looks great! Curious what it costs to just have the chrome wrapped?

Lucid Air in Service Queue for 7 Weeks. What Does This Mean for Long-Term Ownership?

Every bit of this story is a complete failure. The drive warning in the first place, the delay for a tow, the backlog for service and an unacceptable wait to actually have your problem addressed, the BS with the rental and the total BS about requiring insurance…..total failure as a car company...

    Stock Momentum

Stock is heading down and you want to keep that momentum? Seems like target $0 might be accurate then.

Are you buying it directly from Lucid?

    Why did it stop

Tesla doesn’t charge idle or congestion fees unless the site is over 50% in use. I have never been charged either, even when I charged to 90% or 100% - but over 80% it slows waaaayyyy down so it isn’t a good use of time anyway. I’m glad to hear that EA charger reliability has improved - it’s...

Lucid Air RWD - About to return to Leassor

Seems like most lease companies just want to replace the wheels and charge you a grand per wheel versus the refinishing cost, so it’s much better for you to have them refinished ahead of time if you can.

Interesting read on some car manufacturers dropping CarPlay

I’ve never used CarPlay and I function perfectly fine without it in any of my cars. For my wife, it is a non-negotiable and she won’t even consider a car that doesn’t have it. She uses it 100% of the time.

    Gravity vs BMW iX5

Nobody is disappointed if their new EV goes a lot farther than what they thought they bought. Everyone is disappointed when their new EV goes a lot less than what they thought they bought. Which strategy is smarter? Makers stating less than what buyers will actually get hurt themselves in...

    Gravity vs BMW iX5

My wife has a new X6 (obviously not EV but posting for BMW ownership info) that gets 600 mile range on a full tank, averages about 26 mpg on road trips, has hands free driving on the freeway that is fantastic, great software, excellent UI and infotainment, gorgeous interior, plenty of power, and...

What could cause this rear undercarriage piece to break?

While you are waiting for a response from somebody just duct tape that sucker up so that the cover is in place.

The simple satisfaction of home dryer outlet charging

Holy cow that is expensive electricity! Roughly 40c per kWh? I pay 7.5c/kwh any time of day with no TOU to worry about. Your price is more than I pay at Tesla superchargers even (34c on average).

    Target $0

Now I have to question if you actually own a Tesla - how do you not know this? HW4 has been out since late 2023 and has been getting constant FSD updates, while those of us on HW3 are still waiting for v14lite to somewhat simulate what the newer cars get. There is zero doubt that FSD on the...

    Lease Return Tires

What will they charge you if you just return it as is and let them replace the tires? If it isn’t a huge savings to replace them yourself ahead of the return, just let them do it and save yourself the hassle.
