    Doug DeMuro's Lucid Gravity Review

Minivan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_R-Class Hopefully, the Gravity will do a lot better and for a lot longer than the R-Class.

I get more mi/kWh with brake regen off???

My GV60 uses blended braking as well and I enjoy driving the same way I always drove (like I stole it). For those of you who don't know about blended braking systems: an initial press on the brake pedal invokes regen. Only a hard press or a deep press will invoke the friction brake. I think...

What is going on with orders?

Huh? That is a non sequitur. Nothing to do with this thread.

Compare your Lucid’s size to other vehicles

Not only the Lucid but most EVs have larger human compartments. So when you compare a Lucid to a BMW 5/7 series, Mercedes E/S, etc. the Lucid will have much more commodious internal space. One of the many, many advantages of EVs (even if this view is not shared by the majority of US drivers).

Lease return excess wear & tear

I referred a close friend who bought one but he paid cash so this won't be an issue for him and our friendship.

Suggestions for a Better Midsize Release

The problem is whom do you pick. There are many different desires for a midsized vehicle. Some want something cheaper. Some want luxurious features. Some want something smaller. Some want power. Some want range. Some are okay with "minimalist" design while others abhor it. Car companies...

    Upping their advertising! Billboard!

JOEC answered your question on the first page of this thread. Since you didn't seem satisfied, I added more depth. But just in case I will quote what JOEC said: "Again, the vast majority of customers for this car are in California. The rest are the type of person who wouldn't think California...

    Minor Accident - Diminished Value

Could you reach out to B of A and suggest that they argue diminished value? Irrelevant to you if you are not going to purchase the car at the end of the lease but if you might, it could work.

AI Driving Demand For Electricity And BMW Announcing V2H/V2G Coming Soon

and, back in 2018... https://www.maxim.com/rides/bmw-wireless-charging-pad-2018-5/#:~:text=BMW%20Introduces%20the%20World's%20First,car%20with%20a%20conventional%20engine. Lucid is far from the only car company to make promises it can't keep.

After over a year of ownership, I still don't understand the entry/approach software of this car

I used to be a BMW owner/driver. That company has had decades to refine its cars and, don't forget, that with the I3 it was one of the earliest EV providers. Buying a car from a new company will produce some early adopter issues. One has to decide if one is willing to put with those to get...

Lease return excess wear & tear

I wonder if B of A actually sends some of these vehicles back for repair or simply auctions them off?

A couple of years ago I went from a BMW to an EV and my rate stayed about the same -- GEICO.

    BMW Earth competition

I used to have a 2018 BMW 530e PHEV. They promised a forthcoming mat that one would place in the garage under where one parks and it would then charge the battery pack. It never showed up. Yes...Lucid has had problems with promising stuff that it hasn't delivered, at least not yet. But this...

    Upping their advertising! Billboard!

Because many car companies have found that design studios in California do better more saleable work than in other locations and countries. This is what my AI report said: Car companies with design studios in California include established automakers like General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo...

    Ridiculous Parts Replacement

This is the type of inexpensive part that I would think a luxury car company would just throw in as a freebie while servicing the car. It is probably too small a part to be separately sold. If your car is not being serviced, and you are annoyed, just buy one from Amazon.

    Sapphire, Taycan or E-Tron GT

Which, as PaulS stated, is why the Audi is such an attractive alternative since it is really the same thing as the Porsche.

    BMW Earth competition

Remember that BMW was early in the EV race with the I3 and has also been early in the PHEV/hybrid race as well, especially with the I8. I would not count out the Germans but competition is good.

Lease return excess wear & tear

So sorry to hear your experience. Just one quasi correction: Lucid isn't making that $5K, B of A is making it. But Lucid picked B of A to be its leasing partner so I agree with you that Lucid is responsible for the experience even though it may not currently have any power over it. And I...

    Gravity 75 mph Range

I like your idea. As unreasonable for today's driving the EPA standard is, it is far better and more realistic than its foreign competitors (i.e., see China and the EU).
