Lease return excess wear & tear

What struck me is that Lucid Finance is actually a B of A entity and yet Lucid automotive is accepting responsibility at the beginning and then refers any complainant back to the B of A subsidiary.

Why can't your turn off your Lucid Air?

Hummh! You drive a dream edition Air and Gravity and your wife drives a Hyundai! You do know that California is a community Property State? She could at least be driving a Genesis GV60P.

Lease return excess wear & tear

I agree that Lucid needs to sort this out BUT I suspect that some of the Reddit posters were never really going to lease a Lucid. It is easy for someone who reads something negative about a product, and the reader agrees with the negative comment, to chime in and jump on the bandwagon.

    Issues With New Car

If users here are new to the luxury car market, they may not realize how unique your position is. I used to be a BMW driver and there were two active BMW user forums that I was active in and if there was a corporate representative, he/she was well hidden. The same thing applies to Genesis. Now...

    Issues With New Car

It is great that you are here. I have a Genesis and there is a Genesis owners forum but as far as I can tell, no one from Genesis is there (they may monitor it but don't participate). I had BMWs before that and was on the two BMW owner forums and there was no corporate presence there like...

Interesting. Does USAA require an inspection first?

Lease return excess wear & tear

Lucid definitely stepped in it on this one. The traditional luxury car companies all own their own financial services companies (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) so they can and do control these type of alleged costs. As part of its bankruptcy General Motors sold its financial subsidiary in what i snow...

    Edmunds compares against Rivian R1S

Haters will hate and reviews will be good and bad. I have seen reviews blasting the BMW M5, the Chevrolet Corvette, etc. It is just one review. Chill.

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

My Genesis GV60P HUD displays a vehicle in my blind spot by showing what I call a red blush along side the display on that side of the display. I'm old so I still turn my head and double check but, then again, I still remember how to hand signal a turn.

    Green Light feature

My Genesis comes up with a message that the car in front of me is moving away. I prefer that to a green light ding.

    Purluxe Premium vs Leather

I fully understand why Lucid has premade cars with standardized seat setups. But if one is ordering from the factory, I don't understand why the seat material is not a separate choice from the seat color. Pretty much every other luxury car company that lets you order from the factory lets you...

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

Different strokes for different folks. I absolutely want a HUD but I want it discretely toward the bottom but just above where it would be blocked by the steering wheel.

Car and Driver prototype drive of Porsche Cayenne EV

Tesla (and now Lucid) have confused everyone on this issue. Teslas and Lucids have traditional friction braking systems. When you step on the brake, it activates the friction brakes. Many other EVs, including Porsche and Genesis, have blended braking systems. In those systems the initial...

An ask and reminder to be kind

This is great advice but not just for Lucid. This is great advice for life.

    Heads-up display

I am so tired of hearing that. Yes...if you wear polarized sunglasses you will have difficulty seeing the HUD, especially if you are driving into the sun. You can afford a Lucid, you can certainly afford a pair of tinted but not polarized sunglasses. Even if you wear progressive glasses, you...

Suspension dip after slowly crossing speed bump in smooth mode.

We have a lot of streets with speed bumps and humps. I have yet to figure out how to drive through them. Most have spaces between the humps so one can get one wheel through but not the other. It sometimes seems that at 30 mph it is smoother than at 20 but as I said, it is hard to figure out...

Lease return excess wear & tear

I agree on scratches. From the picture I see what might be a hole in the middle. If there is a hole that would require replacement. But...$2400 for a part that is designed to be replaced? That is truly excessive. In Arizona when it rains the ground has no absorbency so it floods on the...
