    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

This is a consumer forum, not a manufacturer forum. While there is a Lucid employee on the forum, this is not the way to reach Lucid. Try email the executives if it is important to you.

    Engineering Explained. This is bad.

Lucid is centered in Arizona and California. In Arizona, GM had a group in Chandler for programming and it killed the entire group. I would think that there might be some talented programming staff, used to programming for automobiles, in that group.

    Lucid Autonomous Driving Future

I agree, at least in part. I like having ADAS like blind spot monitoring and forward and rear collision alerts. I don't want my car to change lanes for me, I can do that myself and if and when I can't, it will be time for Waymo. I also don't want my car to park for me with one exception: I...

    Arizona

West side vs. east side. Glendale vs. Phoenix or Scottsdale. That sounds like the onramp from State Farm stadium and sitting there waiting for non residents to drive out is similar to a small town speed trap.

    Arizona

Its not exactly the same thing but my bigger pet peeve is drivers who get in the left lane, drive slowly, and pace the car to their right. I think about 50% of them are oblivious and the other 50% are deliberately doing it.

Now that we can't drive in the HOV lanes during rush hour anymore, there is no point to the alt fuel plates.

    Alternatives to the Lucid Air

I looked at and test drove the BMW and I thought it drove very well. In addition, I was a long time BMW owner and felt loyal to the brand. But I just couldn't get past the unnecessary front end and passed on it. For the same reason, I would still pass on it. Is external size an issue for...

Ordering parts for a Salvaged Air Touring

I would think that since Lucid has produced fewer cars than it had projected, its factory would have the capacity to generate spare parts. If the factory was going full out and building at capacity, I would understand the policy. On the other hand, someone buying a salvage vehicle should be...

Car and Driver prototype drive of Porsche Cayenne EV

Again, with a Lucid one needs one pedal driving to gain full regen capability because the brake pedal is a friction only brake pedal.

Consumer Reports 2026 Lucid Gravity Review

Porsche has a long and well established reputation for building performance vehicles. It has been very successful at that, at least in my market where a relatively small Porsche facility has been replaced by a monster facility reflecting Porsche success in the market...

Buying a pre-owned Air directly from Lucid - A cautionary tale

I went through a quasi lemon law transaction with a prior BMW. It kept going into the shop. I finally showed up at the dealership with a letter to BMW stating that I am invoking the lemon law. I had copies for the GM and Service Manager. When I handed the letter to the service manager he...

ADIOS LUCID: I really hate to make this post but after only two months of ownership, my '23 Lucid AT is gone.

IMO the biggest killer for range is speed. EPA tests at the speed limit. In most parts of the country, no one drives at the speed limit and ten miles over doesn't even get you a ticket. Out here it is typical to see 65 as the speed limit on a highway and most cars going 75-90. Keeping up...

Motortrend | Lucid Gravity vs. Cadillac and Volvo for EV SUV Supremacy: Only One Is Truly Ready for Prime Time

CR purchases cars for tests based on a perceived need for reviews, not based on whether they think it is a great car or a terrible car.

WINDSHIELD REFLECTIONS ( Dash & HUD)

I have had HUDs on several different car brands. The reflection is unavoidable. However, most of the time my brain adjusts to it and doesn't notice it.
