I’ve used the NACS version to charge a Cybertruck.

I have four NACS chargers, and they all end -0. Only one of them is installed right now and it has the problem. Or should I say the car has the problem, because my GEN-1 Tesla charger also has this issue.

There was a "recall" on older key fobs, due to buttons coming off, so you may try going that route and see if it helps.

I'll check when I pick up my car and see if the charger is the old -1 model. I think these chargers are the same J1772 ones from 4+ years ago, which may explain the throttling, although it doesn't help me much on my NACS charger, since it appears they still only have -1 model versions of these.

You must mean a J1772 V3 model (‘-3’ at the end of the model designator), because as far as I know, the NACS models are still at ‘-1’ based on their model designator.

I think on iPhones you can still use NFC tapping when the battery is "dead". I've gotten a message to that effect before and was still able to use tapping to unlock my HomeKit lock. Hopefully they will also have PAAK for the Apple Watch.

In the video, Dave Flynn (Director of UX/UI) mentions that the Lucid assistant will be coming to the Lucid Air first. He constantly mentioned that. And also mentioned that it will be coming first for the Air in the next few months, whenever that is.

This unlock feature requires remote connectivity, as do all the other control buttons in the app. Hopefully with PAAK, we can have all these control buttons also work via Bluetooth. Obviously the walk up unlock and vehicle start will, but it would be nice that the other controls work with Bluetooth.
