Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

You are right about #1. I must have glanced at the wrong data. According to Good Car Bad Car, which seems to be a pretty reliable of automotive sales data, BMW sold 10,777 7 Series in the US for the past 12 months. Lucid sold 12,028 total vehicles in that same period. While not as strong, the...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

I think you are wrong, because price absolutely matters. Price is what centers these cars in the top tier luxury class (excluding the ultra luxury Rolls & Bentley class). If the Gravity Grand Touring was a $95K car, we would be praising its value alongside other luxury cars like the Vistiq or...

    MY 2027 ordering process changed

That is weird packaging... In the US, there are only 2 models: Touring and Grand Touring. Then, every option is available to both. I think the only difference between the two models is the green paint is only available on the Grand Touring.

OoS - Kyle Conner Has GGT Long Term Loaner

I would add that the root cause is probably unclear to Marquardt and Lucid as well.

Lucid service center with two people serving 6 states

If they modeled the SC locations and staffing based on expected service calls per car, and if they are experiencing more service calls per car than in the assumptions, then they will be swamped until they can close the issues or expand SC capacity.

The lessors may have a change of heart over the next few months... Starting early- to mid-2023, most of the BEVs were leased with high incentives and aggressive residuals. Normally industry-wide lease rate is around 20%. However BEVs leased at around 80%, and most of those are severely upside...

You indirectly answered one of my Lucid leasing curiosities... Is your residual 61%? That is not too shabby. I expected low 50s, so Lucid must be subsidizing BoA up front to boost the residuals that high.

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

Haha. For this price, I expect it to be pretty freaking amazing at almost everything. Is this your first luxury car purchase? Do you have Stockholm Syndrome? Have you never had a BMW 7 Series or M-B S Class? For this price tag, I expect nothing less than ne plus ultra.

    Creep mode default setting?

This is purely a software control thing. The iX was not always smooth, and I did not use Auto Hold because of it. But then BMW released a software update last year that perfected Auto Hold starts and I have been using it ever since. If it is a priority, Lucid should be able to make the Gravity...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

Agree. In my case, I am not deliberately shopping for a 3-row SUV, because I do not need the room or desire the size. So, when an automaker also offers a 2-row car, that is my preference over the 3-row. Therefore, from your list above, I have the R2 instead of the R1S, EX60 instead of the EX90...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

Yeah, the idea of value is hugely personal, and some aspects could make folks feel like they got a bargain with a $140K Dream Edition. I love where the auto industry is heading with no-negotiation pricing. So, the new form automakers like Rivian, Lucid, Polestar, Tesla, etc. that simply present...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

I know you did not ask me, but I am actively shopping the Gravity against about every other electric SUV available this year. For me, price is definitely a factor - or I should say value. BEVs have been discounted 10% to 20% off MSRP for the past few years. That meant that cars like the BMW iX...

No. I probably won’t be back for another month or so.

Gravity GT sold on C&B today

Autotrader is only advertising one Gravity within 200 miles of my area, and that one is $93K.

When I did my test drive in the Roswell, GA location, they had row upon row of Gravitys in a large lot. It must have been a couple hundred.

(Off-topic?) Several Used DE for sale

Yes. It looks like they need a few more rounds of updates to fix the HUD, deploy PaaK, improve the fob still, and clean up the few glitches in 3.6.

    Lease Pull Ahead

Holy shart balls. I just jumped to the Lucid site to see inventory in my preferred configuration. The quoted leases for 2027 models are $1,885/month before taxes. The total lease cost would be $75,360. That is 61% of MSRP. That is the most expensive lease I have ever seen. They are definitely...

(Off-topic?) Several Used DE for sale

TBH, I would do a dirt cheap GDE lease right now if that was possible. I would grab the power and fun and gamble on the SW and HUD fixes for a year.

Is full self driving being developed for Gravity?

I’m active on the Lyriq forum (another car I am considering), so I’ll ask over there. I don’t think data connectivity could be a requirement, because it is not fast enough to be of any value during a drive.

Is full self driving being developed for Gravity?

I think BC and SC need a data plan for the service in general. But I don’t think it needs realtime access to plot a route. The data access maintains the local map data.
