QUESTION How many here are lease Gravity compare to buying them

I like MSDs when you have a high interest lease. It has most of the advantages of cap cost reduction, but you get the money back and there is no risk.

    Gravity HUD question

Yes, GM, Mercedes, Porsche, and Audi all offer AR HUD. (GM's AR HUD supplier just went Tango Uniform, so they deleted the option from all future builds.)

    Gravity HUD question

What he said... Typical HUD is projected 5' to 10' in front of the windshield. While AR HUD systems project 50' or more ahead of the car. Our two cars (non-Lucid) with standard HUD project around the end of the hood.

    GPS stuck 30 miles away

I count this as "normal" for GPS devices. Every GPS device I own (and I have a lot of them) probably has one event every year or two in which it totally miscalculates location. It usually resolves the next time it attempts a GPS lock from nothing. I credit it to either a complex math breakdown...

    22" Gravity Square wheels

Going to a square 275/45/R21 would increase the front wheel diameter by 0.3" and reduce the rear wheel diameter by 0.3". This is roughly 1% different, each way.

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

Right... several automakers do this - selective dash cam recording triggered by a crash or horn honk. But a true dash cam is always recording and saving, so the driver can go back and look at footage after the fact, like any commercial dash cam. I do not know why every automaker is not already...

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

It does? Multiple posts say no dash cam recording function. Nope. Integrated nav is infinitely better than phone projection nav for routine trips. I only use Apple Maps or Waze for special circumstances. (Google Maps is for chumps, the worst of the three.)

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

March 2025 or March 2026? This one is tougher to figure out. If 3.4 resolved the problems, then we should start to see some evidence that batteries are making it longer than 6 months. If you got yours in March 2026, then you might know about battery life until later this year.

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

Why do you think this? It takes about six months to burn through a fob battery, and we’ve only had the releases for a little over a month. I do not recall seeing a post here or in Lucid release notes that would indicate battery live is changed. Can you point to posts or other releases to back...

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

AWESOME regarding liftgate kick-to-open. I saw several references here to its absence, but did not research it further. Yeah, that send address to car feature is crazy handy. I could live without it, but I would really miss it. Almost every time I am about to drive to someplace unfamiliar...

What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

Someone above posted a very detailed list of Tesla feature comparisons. Having had a Tesla, having a BMW, and close friends and family with Hyundais and GM BEVs, these are my Gravity wishes. The top 4 in Bold are the must-haves before I will order. The rest are things I really wish it had but...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

Ha, funny. I actually drafted a paragraph about this same thing for that post. You are exactly right. A friend of mine has 2 Ferraris, and they are not good everyday cars. And the UX are rough in both. But they perfectly fulfill other expectations. His regular car is a Model S Plaid that...

    QUESTION Prospective buyer questions

There is a ton to unpack here, but the high-level is that you approached Lucid with a set of legacy expectations that do not apply in this new business model. The person you met with is not a sales associate, it is just a product advisor to help educate you and demo the cars. They are not...

That color is stunning. If I order one, that is exactly what I would get. It is not on the configurator yet...

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

Ditto. When I saw all the mentions of blue, I was hopeful of a blue exterior color. Nope. And, they deleted the one color I do like, so it is a hard stop for me. That, and it is $14K more than the car I would order.

According to @037's data in this post Is Lucid nerfing power output?:#71, your acceleration run took around 5.5 seconds.

QUESTION How many here are lease Gravity compare to buying them

Maybe Stellantis or Ford will buy them. Their respective BEV pursuits are in shambles, and Lucid has an incredible BEV platform that would jump start either one. Think about it... Lincoln Gravity or Chrysler Gravity has a certain ring to it... Or maybe a Maserati Gravity??? Or maybe Tata Motors...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

They have 2 different numbers on their quarterly financials that are coincidentally the same value... Free Cash Flow is -$1.4B, and inventory is also $1.4B. But they are entirely unrelated.

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

I noted that Inventory could include incoming materials and partially completed cars. Further, I just used $100,000 as the average price of a car, but I have no clue what the value Lucid uses for unsold inventory. Your numbers actually reconcile with mine, because I did a very high-level...

    Locked out of Lucid Gravity

This and another recent thread prompts the question... What are the scenarios in which you could actually lock your keys or phone inside the car? In general, this is not easy for most cars, but it is not perfect either. For example, we accidentally locked the key inside the trunk of my wife's...
