WearOS app for Lucid Motors' vehicles

IANAL, but as long as you're clear that it's a third-party app for Lucid rather than a Lucid app, there's no reason they should ask to take it down. That includes using Lucid's logo(s) though. I suspect if you publish the source, someone here who's already comfortable with publishing to the Play...

WearOS app for Lucid Motors' vehicles

You push the stop charging button?🤔 In three years I never once did that, I just unplugged the cable. The clicker on the cable is designed to stop charging before the cable can be removed.

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

This thread has made me realize something actually: I should've taken West Elm to court long ago. Their worthless designers made this so-called "coffee table" which doesn't even have cup holders at all! Can you believe it?! Man, the number of times I've bumped it with my knee and spilled...

    I'm Official!

Pirelli says not below 45ºF. I'm sure there's some safety margin in there, but that's a close call.

    I'm Official!

It's not just snow traction, those tires can potentially "freeze" and fracture in low temps. I'd swap them out.

    Ionna!

They have 7 on the map now. Though I visited the one in Limon, CO last week, and while it was very nice to have, it was empty other than a drink vending machine and some seats. Maybe just not fully set up yet. I should also mention all but one stop on may way from CO to VA was Ionna and it was...

Learning? What's that? Isn't that the thing AIs do?

Official Lucid Gravity Gap Cover now available for $235

I didn’t feel like this was worth the money or the wait for me when all I want is a flat platform. I just made one. About $90 of rigid foam insulation cut to roughly fit. Lucid’s got nothing on my R-value. It’s not pretty, but it supported my mattress weight just fine. I might glue some...

    Tested My 2026 Lucid Gravity GT From 100% to 3% Over 9½ Days — 327.8 Miles Driven, 3.23 mi/kWh

Got it. I did read that, I just read "showing energy supplied to the battery, battery and cabin conditioning, and accessories." immediately following and wanted to be sure. That screen does track battery and cabin conditioning and accessories, even while charging - those things don't bypass the...

    Tested My 2026 Lucid Gravity GT From 100% to 3% Over 9½ Days — 327.8 Miles Driven, 3.23 mi/kWh

You are aware of the power usage breakdown in the Charging screen in the car, right? It does show how much energy goes to the drive train, climate control, infotainment, etc.

    Charging

I'm assuming you're talking about the "dynamic range" figure? It's dynamic. It changes based on your driving. Don't worry about it, just drive.

    Leasing Gravity

End of year has been a better time in the past, but who knows with the new management. Your advisor should be able to help you get all the random credits available. I got a credit for doing a test drive, and a credit for being in studio. Not sure if those are still going, but worth asking. Other...

DDPro not acting as it did.

Try a reboot if you haven't, but otherwise, service. Something probably needs recalibrating. No you cannot roll back an update yourself.

Update regarding Phone as a Key availability for Gravity owners

 I hate this. Some people are taking it that way sure, but I don't think it's most people, and I hope it is put to rest in general. On both ends. I for one am not buying a car or any product for promises. I'm buying a car for the car that it is. I don't even want to hear promises from...

    Automatic Headlights

Seems you're right. I read "micro-lens array" in Air's marketing way back and assumed it meant the same thing. Apparently not.

    Service Mode Removal?

You know the salvage title doesn't go away though, right? The person buying the car would have to know what they're getting themselves into. And again, to me, salvage cars on public roads is a regulatory problem, not a Lucid problem. Sure some sloppy entertainment news piece might run a...

    Software wish list

I used ABRP in CarPlay with live data from the car on my recent trip. It was pretty nice for that, it would show things like "last successful charge [at this station]: 30 minutes ago, 157kW." And you were prompted to rate and update features at each stop like whether there are open bathrooms...

    Automatic Headlights

They had the hardware all along, but I’m not sure if it’s actually enabled in software yet in the US? It wasn’t when I traded mine in back in June.

Gravity Pedestrian Warning Sound (AVAS) — Excessive Cabin Noise at 17–22 MPH?

Do you have the comfort package? It comes with acoustic glass, which suppresses more outside noise. I have it and I barely notice the pedestrian sound from inside. Haven’t tried a car without it to say for sure that’s the difference though.

    Service Mode Removal?

Simple: people buy salvaged cars and import them all the time. Lucid (or certified body shops) leaves cars in service mode after declaring them totaled, so they arrive that way.
