Got the update alert today, installed in 33 minutes. Not much to add but just to confirm what has been said before. 25 Touring and the software operation is just a notch smoother in almost every way. As mentioned by others, probably the camera frame rates and multi-tasking feature are the...

Installed yesterday, took an hour. No recent issues before or since. Graphics growing on me! No PIN issues.

Agreed, worth every penny. Tons of useful data and since I haven’t been able to get around to re-configuring my Home Assistant and setting up Lucid Logger, this was so worth it. And arguably a much better/refined product than what I would be able to do. Thanks @HC_79 for all your work on this!

Charging -> Current Limiter (3rd section)

Amperage/current limiter working well for me! I haven’t had time yet to set up good home assistant programs for my home/solar/EV charger but being able to manipulate the amperage helps when the native software isn’t efficient enough.

Same thing happened for me (second notification of update installing). Excited to test out the changes when driving later this morning.

Got it this morning too, went ahead and signed up.

2025 Touring, no issues requiring service (just the occasional reset), approaching 1 year mark on a lease, ~ 6k miles.

Lorenzo was the service team member who helped me when I had a minor scrape, was excellent.

Touring ‘25 with DDPro, had previously received 2.8.7 (didn't have any issues), just installed 2.8.9 in 33 minutes

While I agree that for a lot of people, detailed notes might not be referenced often, I wonder if having a main brief update summary (robustness) with a link to a more detailed release notes would allow for a happy medium of not overwhelming users, transparency and detail for those interested.

Air Touring ‘25 with DDPro, took about 1 hour 40 min, no notable differences yet, I use both fob and phone so maybe I should try phone alone based on some of these reports!

I was mobile only for first 9 months but have started carrying fob too since with a small kiddo hands are always full and can’t always tap my phone. Carrying both has not caused any issues, handles present themselves well in advance of my approach to car now.

I also am noticing better mi/kwh but weather has cooled for me in Sacramento a bit so less AC use so not sure yet

25 Touring, installed update on Thursday night, was about 30 minutes. No noticeable changes so far.

I just did about 100 miles after the 2.8 update and have used Hands Free for about 80 of those miles. I have my steering wheel pretty low already so for me Hands Free has worked really well. Only have gotten 2 warnings to pay attention even with a little one in a car seat in the back (have a...

Scratch that, actually the abbreviated version works too! Sorry to mislead

If you are talking about Hands Free it is activated on most (but not all) highways. A common issue it seems is if your steering wheel is too high the camera below the main dash screen can’t see your face which is required to enable Hands Free Drive Assist. Lowering the steering wheel (more than...

Hold down the turn signal stalk just like you would if doing a lane change where the signal keeps blinking is the same threshold for initiating Lane Change Assist. The abbreviated press down of the turn signal stalk wont activate the LCA.

Got the update! Installing now. Add another tally to 2025 model (Touring) getting the update.
